The wife will not let go of her 2025 Jeep Glady Rubicon, and that's ok. But the interior space and ride quality difference is substantial. I have the 2025 Big Bend 2.3 and just got the Procal. I won't lie and say the difference is night and day, but it does feel a little stronger and doesn't...
The chrome look is definitely killin it. I'm seeing more and more people going to that instead of the all black look. And it's growing on me. Love the look. Thanks for sharing
Those look great. I love how it has a subtle color variation. I am getting antsy, I'm thinking I might try that this weekend but in reverse. So the inner wheel will be bronzed, and I'll leave the ring blacked out. What did you use to cover the tires when you sprayed? Or did you just peel...
It's REAL color was "Rhino", a really dark grey/blue. The only real things to keep in mind is, always keep the rattle can or sprayer moving or it will drip. And PUT IT ON THICK. That makes it easier to peel later. I learned the hard way with the first one which was the Khaki. I didn't put...
The whole truck. I've done it in the past when I had a Wrangler. Actually painted it four different times/colors. It was burnt orange, khaki, like a denim blue, and a pearl white. It takes either 2 gallons in a sprayer or about 15 rattles cans. Fun weekend project! haha
I have me four rattle cans of the bronze plasit dip just WAITING on spring to do the same thing. Plus I have a matte army green to do the whole thing. jonesin' for some spring temps
Good point. I found one for 1200 but it has a couple of really clear cracks, not those hairline ones most people see. Dunno if it has the delam problem as well. Thanks for the comment
I had a thought about purchasing a factory hardtop that openly has some light cracks. I'm a tinkerer by default and I was wondering if a good coat of bedliner would suffice in fixing it for functional safety and performance? Or maybe even a good coat of resin with the fiberglass material laid...
I live north of Atlanta and could pick up. But, knowing that I would most likely coat it black with truck bed liner 5K is a bit steep. Watching, to see if it lasts too long and needs a price reduction. Thanks!
