Traffic on the interstate most people drive 80-85 in my area. This is when the speed limit is 70. I never drive over 70 in any of my vehicles, including the Bronco. I do get passed like I'm standing still. I'd rather not risk a ticket. In a few occasions when people fly past me there is a...
Ya time forgives. There are things I really like about the F150- super comfy, so practical for our lifestyle, gobs of room. And it can tow more than 3500 LBS. I can pull my classics vehicles on a rented U Haul trailer if I have to also. I never, ever thought I would say I miss the MPG on the...
Ya I thought about that too. Still didn’t have the room to store it. And I would have to assemble it with kayak holders, etc. every time we wanted to use it. It’s so easy to load kayaks, paddle boards or kayaks in the bed of a truck. And some of the places we go kayaking don’t allow trailers...
I was going to do a roof rack and get a trailer too for our longer trips. We have no where to store the trailer and we don't even have a driveway to load our kayaks so we have to load them in the garage and the ceilings are too low. I tried to think of everything and unless I spent another 300...
Yeah it did real good, it is also the way I drive. The rating was 17 on it and I averaged 23. I never went over 70. I never had to even step on it and it just flew. The F150 highway rating is 23 and I barely get 20 driving it the same way as the Bronco. I expected 26 or more. The F150...
You did it right! gorgeous build, never get rid of it!! Love the lightweight wheels. It must really move. Mine did, now what I have an F150 and all of my other vehicles compared to the Bronco are slugs, I know!
A small trailer would have worked great and I thought long and hard about it. Huge problem for us is no where to store it. We have a small condo, no driveway and a tiny 2 car garage, very organized and maxxed out with 2 vehicles, roll aways, bikes, kayaks, paddle boards and so much more. I...
The F150 is sure nice but is not the Bronco. I test drove the 5.0 with 400 HP and preferred the 2.7, it felt lighter in the front. The F150 is what we needed for our trips (with me retired) and traveling with kayaks and paddle boards. The 2 door Bronco was just too small.
Thanks so maybe I will be back. I only would want a 2 door Sasquatch.
interesting on the HP though and you are right. One of my classics is a 94 Mustang GT 5.0. 5 speed manual. Sounds so good with CAT back exhaust and factory headers…..but only puts out 215 HP stock. So anemic by today’s...
I did pretty good on the trade in. I paid 38,500 for it almost 4 years ago and got pretty much that for it. I traded my daily driver in too and netted almost 8K back to me rhe dealer had to write me a check. So I got a brand new F150 and a check for almost 8K. Not too bad I guess. I stayed...
Well, I traded my 2022 Bronco Sasquatch 2 door, V6 a couple of months ago, so I am saying farewell. I was fairly active on the forum and looked forward to the posts. I miss the Bronco the day I traded it and more every single day. I had a rare unicorn. I ordered it at the reveal. I so...
When I lived up north, I would painstakingly sand, primer, paint and/or undercoat mostly all steel parts on the undercarriage of my vehicles. A lot of work but the ultimate solution.
I do a lot of my own work but not a differential tear down or re-gear. A very specialized job for sure that requires special tools, indicators, etc. I shopped a Jeep Gladiator back in 2020- getting a 4" lift, 35" tires and re-gear versus getting a Sas Bronco. Wow the Gladiator was going to...
I'd go Sasquatch Bronco. No aftermarket mods- it's ready right out of the box. With the 4 Runner you have to get a lift, bigger tires, etc. more expense, have to make sure it's done right and it's not factory.
I have used only 87 octane in my 2022 2 door Sas, stock, no tune and I have nearly 18K on it now. 300 HP is more than enough for me in it. It's not a race or drag vehicle. With a light foot and my MBRP dual CAT back my MPG has been steadily climbing the more miles I put on it. I'm up to 23.1...
It will be awhile before my Bronco needs brake pads and/or rotors. But geez modern vehicles and electronics.........brake mode for service, I am sure glad I read this forum to know that in advance. Do you need Forscan to put it into brake service mode?
I sure do love old school vehicles like...
Agree- When I was on any boat ramp I always engaged the parking brake first, made sure it held and it was not the transmission pawl pin or manual transmission holding the vehicle , then put it in gear, first gear (or park if an automatic), then shut it off. I never once had a roll back...
I fished a remote reservoir very often for about 47 years. I don't know if it was vehicle failure or not but I witnessed many vehicles on the ramps roll partially or fully into the water. And that was only when I was there. So that kind of stuff happens- and apparently fairly often. It was...
I'm hanging on to my 2022 Basesquatch 2 door with 2.7. It only has 17K on it and is pretty much a garage queen. I ordered it at the reveal and pretty much stole it compared to todays' prices. It's so fun to drive too- especially with the dual CAT back MBRP exhaust. I'm so tempted for a...
