Not driving the speed limit on the interstate (80 mph) makes a lot of difference but it is also downhill from Snowville to Meridian. If I drive that stretch with my wife's equinox diesel 80-85 I still get good mpg's but with my gas F250 I drive it at 70 because of mpg.
Sounds like a replay of mine, no warning, no noise, just lots of lights, massive coolant cloud and no locomotion. Barely at above idle as I was just pulling away from a green light and traffic was backed up. I just helped back it up more.
Not worried about the new engine, by the time mine was ordered all of the bad ones should have been purged. Just went and looked for the build date and can't find it now. Just to guess though, probably June or July '22.
Sorry, but didn't notice that then. Does anyone know if these were valve failures? If so then that does change things. How will they inspect? It would mean a teardown and a valve replacement at the least but maybe real techs have a better idea.
If I remember correctly, no '21 Bronco was reported with more than 7,000 miles on it on this forum. Most let go with less than that. Mine popped in July, '22 with 3900 miles. Yes, it was a valve failure. Haven't checked recall status yet, curious to see if it will show up. Just checked and it...
You could go with a 285/75-17 for more sidewall height. Worked fine on my BD with factory steelies and on a narrow wheel, they are as tall as the factory 35's. (They are really closer to 34")
This is really cool. I know it's not for everyone but in this country you still can be an individual. I found a registration from '82 for my '72 Bronco. Had my plates on my '21 BD changed to the same number. Some people don't understand but I thought it would be cool and my opinion is the only...
Fire look outs are great. Some of them are a 2 mile drive that can take over an hour to get there. I haven't been to many here in Idaho but it amazes me how they got them built where they did. Because of their placement and what they were meant for, the views are unsurpassed. At one time Idaho...
