By sharing your VIN with the Ford bot, you also are cross-referenced in any past or future posts here regarding stuff you wrench on.
Ford has been around for a century - that hasn't been based on helping enthusiasts, so much as mitigating financial claims against them.
$700 is a small price to pay to be allowed to continue the factory warranty on your $70k vehicle that you chose to shade-tree modify in your driveway.
Seriously - that is not judgement, it's financial fact. The dealer (proxy for the manufacturer) can clearly see when someone has messed around...
When I had my 98 Wrangler TJ, I had instance where my horn started blowing nonstop - the only way to silence it was to remove the fuse. Dealer diagnosed a dead clockspring behind the steering wheel, said it was a common issue of Jeeps left in the rain repeatedly.
Years later, a neighbor's TJ's...
Police don't investigate crimes.
This dude will have a warrant placed on his record by a judge.
One day he'll be pulled over for a burnt out taillight bulb, a cop will run his license, and the warrant will pop up.
A good lawyer will get him a couple years probation, and he may have to pay...
What kind of sucker pays $7400 in advance?
Even if it was $74, a 100% deposit makes no sense. Ever notice that trustworthy vendors don’t charge your card until an item ships?
Man, someone pointed out that user Raqball dropped the ha-ha emoji on all my posts. A minor squabble ensued.
Just checked and it’s true! Dude was clicking that button relentlessly until he was outed. What a goofball! Glad I amused him so much!
Nice! I posted my “goodbye” thread a couple days ago, but I never actually leave forums/car brands, etc, I just add them to my big old bag of tricks I’ve ho-ed around with.

Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler
VW GTI 6MT
Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
Bronco Badlands 2 door 7MT
VW GTI 6MT

I was the oddball driving a...
I never said the Bronco didn’t work out!
LOVED the Bronco!
I just can’t afford to own everything all at once, so I sell stuff to get new experiences.
I’m an automotive whore, to be accurate.
Love every brand, loyal to none!
