Damn that's good to know. I went with the rings already. I was torquing the last rim down when I saw this post. Thanks for the info and pics. You got a good looking rig.
Good luck and thanks for the update.
If you don't mind. Where are you located? Also do you ever take any video of your offroad adventures? I think it's would be cool to see all of this in real time.
I've decided against 38's personally. If it's an AT i could see maybe going that route but if your doing some actual offroading then you have to consider the amount of traction/power/parts integrity. Something will give in the right circumstances. There is threshold of diminishing return.
37s clear with a good amount of offset. I only run the spacers on my factory 30mm SAS wheels. No spacer on the Vision.
I would say go with the 38s but all tires are not created equally. They very in height. My Mickey Baja MTs will be tight and they are the same advertised "size" as the BFGs.
I have Broncbuster 2 inch spacers for my factory set of SAS wheels.
Purchased a full set of Vision non beadlock wheels with -40mm for everyday BFG K02s
I just bought mine. I wanted these as a back up set of wheels. My all terrains are too nice and balanced to jack them all up. I get in a ton of highway driving so I want comfort outside of the trails. I am stoked. Can't wait to try them out aired down confidently for once.
Oh those look great! I just ordered a set for my offroad set. I can't wait to try them out on and offroad. Thanks for the pictures. Finally a real pic for the real world to see.
I don't know why but I compared them to the rest of the studs and they seem to be the only ones that were too short. Either way I will take pictures and measurements for informational purposes. The lady that I use for service at my local dealer gave me a copy of Ford work instructions and it's...
Has anyone else run into a single hub having short studs? The rest of my studs are plenty long enough but my Drivers front wheel studs are all about a half an inch too short.
