since I have storage drawers installed, I can't access the platform on that side. Moving the fridge out, I am still able to take the magnetic door off and get into the storage cubby though. I don't keep anything in there. And I also don't have anything that rattles back there (currently)

They provide access doors to get to the storage cubby, but you cannot access the space where the jack and tools are located. You have to plan to relocate that stuff if you want to have access to it.
