I added the OEM rear swaybar to my 2022 OBX. The difference is subtle but it does seem to help a bit with body roll during turns and also brake dive (to a lesser extent). I have no regrets about adding it.
This sounds similar to something that happened to me last year. I took my family up to NH for a weekend in the mountains. After spending a couple of hours on the highway (sport mode, 4A) I exited on to the surface streets. As I was coasting up to a red light it started to stumble and I said to...
Thanks for posting these updates. My warranty runs out next month and I just barely squeezed in an appointment to get evaluated for this repair. I'll be following along to see if you continue to get any push back from your dealer.
I'm hoping that this solves the window rattle when opening the...
I would be surprised if there was any meaningful difference in height between the two. They both use the same factory mounting points. The top edge of the 2" square sits just slightly below the underside of the crossmember that it's bolted to.
I just measured my hitch and it's ~19" vertically to the center of the hitch (18 1/8" to lower edge, 20 1/4" to the upper edge).
For reference, I have a 2022 OBX (non-sas) on 33" tires (275/70R18) with a Curt Hitch. Hopefully that helps.
Thanks for the heads up. That noise sounds very familiar. I always thought it was coming from the car seats in back but now I'm not so sure. Looks like I'll be pulling these panels off this weekend to confirm. I'll be curious to see if this impacts the window rattle when I open the door since...
Haha... A few years ago I was riding my motorcycle in San Diego and I noticed a small drone flying in the middle of the street. I rode by and karate kicked it at 45mph. It was so rewarding watching that thing bouce off the pavement and shatter into a million pieces. (For the record, I'm not...
This just happened to me for this first time yesterday so I'll be following this thread moving forward. It went down exactly like everyone else has described.
Opened the driver door, heard a strange alarm, noticed the parking brake fault error. I started it, toggled the switch and the warning...
Thanks for the write up. I've wanted to pull the trigger on this upgrade for a while now but the consensus on here seemed to be that you needed a lift to snake the bar into position. I'm wondering if removing the clips like you suggested is the secret. Would it be possible to elaborate a little...
I happened to see one of these listed for sale when I was browsing through CL the other day. Here's the link.

Have you inspected the camera on the driver side mirror yet? I would start by making sure there isn't any debris blocking the camera or that the mirror is partially folded in.
How many miles do you have on your Bronco? I used to have something very similar happen when I was coasting to a stop. It felt like a bad shift and it clunked pretty badly. In my case it only happened a handful of times early on in my ownership and it hasn't happened again since then. I chalked...
Not the best images due to the poor weather today but this should give you an idea of what the Grabbers look like on an OBX with stock wheels and suspension.
