Shouldn’t a dealership at least stock the bolts if scheduling recall inspection? They are just bolts at the end of the day and it seems incredibly wasteful to have to order them after the fact and give you a loaner.
Dude. Most of your crude oil comes from Canada. It's probably why we don't have a shortage at the moment as we have a lot and our smaller population base doesn't consume nearly as much.
I've always been a fan of cloth seats. Warmer in the winter, cooler in the summer, and typically far more durable. It's a shame that automakers don't make them optional in higher end models. I think VW is one of the few manufactures that offer this with the Golf R and Porsche optioning...
What's shown in the photo is purely cosmetic and not an issue. Ideally Ford would clean the weld areas better but that is not rust or risk of structural damage.
OP I don't know if Bronco ownership is for you. If you are going to worry about non-issues before even taking delivery, I can't...
That's kind of out of necessity seeing the 2.3L turbocharger is larger and needs the twin scroll to reduce lag associated with larger turbochargers. Twin scroll is not applicable to twin turbo V6 (one turbo for 3 cylinders) because the technology requires evenly paired cylinders so instead to...
Unrelated but Ford was supposed to have a software update for 2025 2.3L to correct the cold start misfire issue in Q2. Do you know if that's available yet? I seem to get the CEL every 6 weeks or so still.
Everyone has seen the cracks and honecomb but has anyone heard of the outer layer flying off? I see weekly photos in the Facebook Bronco group of the same old issues but never pieces flying off. Must have happened to a few people. Either way this is good news I suppose for owners with issues.
I've been driving manuals all my life and abused my DSM and STI with hard AWD launches and have never had to replace a clutch. My ex-wife had an Accord with a 5-speed manual and was terrible at driving it but still never burned out the clutch. I just can't see how a clutch could be this...
Ha ha no. Ceramic coatings have basically rendered waxes obsolete for daily driven vehicles. Wax still has a place on garage queens and show cars because of it's ability to boost appearance and enhance colors but ceramic coatings offer a layer of hydrophobic long term protection that makes...
In general you don't use any sort of brush on paint, period. It's why most modern wash mitts are microfiber. Today's water based paints are soft and delicate and I have a hard time believing your clear coat doesn't have micro scratches and swirls from using car wash brushes on paint.
If you are going to dealer, just ask them to use Motorcraft full synthetic (not the blend) and you will be fine. I put in Mobil 1 EP for my first oil change but that's because it was on sale and is a pretty solid oil. Any synthetic that meets Ford specifications will do fine as people on the...
