@Pa pa smurf Chris do you think that parts list and process would work with a 2023 Badlands mid package? It has the heated seats and hartop prep package.

I wanted the platform to all be flat and as level as possible for sleeping etc. to achieve that I had to raise the rear 2 inches.

final product with tie down straps exposed for use, hinged rear cover for access to storage underneath and factory cubby. along the way I installed the IAG tailgate table which is an extremely high quality piece. Took a drive today and was very satisfied with the install. No rattles or squeaks.

The top hatch gives me great access to the entire compartment . I also used the original tie down hardware locations to add tie down straps. total investment in this project was 300.00

I found a nice commercial carpeted rubber floor mat. I cut it to fit and used it as a top layer.

Once everything was dry I did the final install on all the platform.

I painted the 3/4 inch platform panels with Duplicolor bed liner. I will be installing three access covers to gain access to the storage area.

I used cardboard to create a template and cut out the platform top, sides, and front end. I sized this so I can still have full range of motion for the front seats and also use full recline position if I want to. I also have access to the drain plugs in the rear seat area with having to acess...
