do you have any issues with the ai.13 gaskets? I swear I get like 1-2 times screwing the top on and off before those things tear. I asked them about it and then suggested sanding down the open end of the rotopax, which I did, but they’re still ripping. I was thinking of trying to 3d print my own...
nice catch. Not sure if I missed that or they recently added it, but so far no issues with 5 batteries. I think it’s okay but I definitely need to fuse each battery just in case.
yeah there are a bunch of small fuses at the fuse block. They protect each wired accessory. The purpose of the 125 a fuse is to protect the wiring before the block, as well as the block itself.
I used 2 AWG I believe. The 3/0 was from redarcs install manual above. I was originally going to install an inverter, but since I dropped that I didn’t need the beefy cable.
Good luck to those of you getting this bumper/tire carrier. Neither iteration worked well for me, but I have to give @Turn Offroad and @TURN Todd a shout out for making it right. They shipped me out their tailgate reinforcement and zero series bumper free of charge, even after sending me a...
I’m surprised the non-raptor version uses the left side of the undercarriage, I really thought the rear was the only spot with room. Props to them for fitting it in there and also makes for a less explosive rear end collision
it’s been great! I have my RTT over it now, but for a few months it was exposed to rain. No issues with rust and it’s been clutch having it on camping trips.
So I installed the new bumper today. The only difference is the tab on the lower part of the swing out arm has a little more space above it. They also sent out some longer bump stops.
It was nice that they sent a whole new bumper at no charge, but I still have the same issues with this one that...
they sent me out a completely new bumper a few weeks ago, I just haven’t had time to install it yet. Will probably get to it today and report how it goes.
I might have the same issue. I thought it might be loose steering rack mounting bolts, but I tightened those down and still have it. This was a pain in the ass as I had to remove my hidden winch to get to them.
I was also thinking skid plates that have some dirt between them rubbing together...
What a cool project! Can’t wait to see how it turns out. Will that box fit in the stock cargo tray? Also, since the batteries linked are 3.2 V do you wire them in series to get to 12?
Glad I could help!
No issues with the factory system. I keep an eye on the battery voltage while driving and it hasn’t changed at all since installing. If there’s another way to monitor that I’m not aware of, please let me know. No changes in forscan
So I got this installed over the weekend. It wasn’t perfect, but I like it for $330. Don’t know if I would pay $494 for it.
pros:
-Shipping was fast
-Easy to install
-Table has UHMW plastic on areas that slide
-Cheaper than alternative
-Table has drain holes
cons:
-Packaging wasn’t great...

Thoughts? I’m glad to see there are more options after Trailrax released their sliding table. This one comes out to about $330, which is significantly less and includes the table.
