do them yourself. I did mine and saved a ton of money... didn't replace rotors.. just make sure you research how to put it in brake maintenance mode before doing the rear brakes. The worst part is removing the heavy wheels/tires.
Road trip from Sacramento CA to Killeen TX to visit my parents. I hadn't seen my dad in 10 years since he moved from CA to TX, and it was his 78th birthday, so I coordinated with my mom to drive out there (they're divorced but civil, and live just 2 miles from each other). I had ChatGPT map...
Nice! if you're on facebook, check out Gold Country Broncos - we are a group of Bronco enthusiasts based out of Sacramento, but we have people join us on drives from all over the bay area. Good group of people, we encourage Bronco Sport owners to come along on the easier drives, and are even...
wow, sorry man... I heard there was some back and forth ... that's some BS... but as far as many of us are concerned, you and the team were first in your class... way to go, dude.
love the write-up, man .. I was glued to my computer on the livestream watching your guys progress, the whole time. Kudos to you for doing the ironman (which you neglected to mention) - where YOU drove the entire. fucking. thing. Insane. My eyes start rolling back in my head after driving...
The Sacramento valley has been in a blanket of fog for about two weeks - several of us wanted to get out and get above the fog, so we headed up the hill. A good trail, 6/10 difficulty. Of course, I got a ton of lights and chimes right before one of the more complicated obstacles, and 4WD...
I've had this series of issues happen several times - yesterday was while I was offroading and coming up to an obstacle that required 4wd.. I got all the tones and lights on the dash about Advancetrac, sensors, 4wd not available, etc.. I had been in 4wd for about an hour and a half on the trail...
I just toss it in the back - kinetic rope, morrflate 4-way setup, shovel are the only things I bring with me when I offroad - in 5 years of offroading, I've never needed traction boards, so I stopped bringing them. I built a platform for the back to make it level when the back seats are folded...
I'm 55 .. it was actually nice doing it alone (my wife would never want to sit in a car for 12+ hours a day!)... I think because I enjoy taking detours for photos, it gave me the freedom to do whatever I wanted and take as much time as I wanted to get some cool photos/video. It was truly...
I recently got laid off from work, so I'm taking some time to decompress and enjoy some of my severance time before looking for a new job. I took the opportunity to drive from Sacramento CA to Killeen TX to visit my parents. They're divorced and have been for about 30 years, but they lived about...
I've got the Vantrue n5 - it records forward, interior, and has another camera that records out the back window and the rear seat (4 cameras) ... I'm very happy with it.. it has wifi connection for downloading clips, you can change the resolution of all the cameras through the app, set the...
we tried a forum a couple years ago for the people who don't use facebook, but 98% of the members use facebook, so there was no engagement on a forum, so we shut it down. There is an IG page, but the owner doesn't post there too often.
Welcome to Sacramento - I'm in North Natomas... and a member/admin of Gold Country Broncos - we have a really good group of Bronco owners in and around Sacramento - there are a ton of trails we have access to, living here - and some are cool for driving solo, but there are some that you should...
