  1. Update: fixed today! - I needed to vent about my Bronco, feel free to ignore this post if you love yours ✌️

Man, your truck was probably built within days of my '21 Big Bend V6 sasquatch, So far, I've had: 1. Bad valve batch (engine fine so far) 2. Leaking transmission at 9K (seal damaged at MTP when mating trans. to engine) 3. Leaking transmission #2 (dealer forgot to attach vent hose on top of...
  2. 2025 Broncos... 2-door going extinct?

it is 100% definitely less expensive to produce the 2-door. The vehicle has less parts, brackets, fasteners, takes less paint to cover it, as well as less material. Business 101 in automotive engineering. The question comes down to "less/more profitable". sales volumes drive this equation...
  3. My Ford Bronco

Yeah, sad to say, this is the the likely reason nobody wanted to touch this. There were a few "variables" that could've prevented the damage. As long as those exhist, it will be chalked up as "user error" and your only recourse would be an insurance claim.
  4. Window Switches - Should they be Switched

Designing the door systems with the window switches on the door trim panels, instead of the center console was never an option. The 5-gang switch pack (LHS) and the 1-Gang on the other 3 doors, would have added extra weight to each door (add in extra wire harness runs to each door, added switch...
  5. My windshield debacle with Safelight

I think this is insurance policy-specific. I used Safelite, and after I made the claim, when I contacted Safelite, I told them I wanted OEM glass. They said the aftermarket was default, but they would only switch to OEM if the customer specified it. They told me AAA (my auto insurance)...
  6. Dont put your hard top front panels in the back seat

You need a whole new door trim panel assembly. The rollovers are heatstaked on (plastic weld posts) and are not servicable.
  7. Wrong fender! Are you kidding me?

His fender on the RHS is not the N2DB-16005-CA. That one has the punched holes for the snorkel. He has the M2DB-16005-BE fender, whis is just like the pervious, but WITHOUT the snorkel punched hole. Making more sense how there was a mix-up. the correct fender (round) is only different by the A...
  8. Wrong fender! Are you kidding me?

Yes- All JIT plants, (Just in time sequencing) utilizing ILVS (In-line vehicle sequencing) This just doesn't add up
  9. Is the paint color off or is it just me?

I had a 1995 Probe GT that had tri-color red, and I had the fuel door replaced, and when I took it to a local, well-reknowned body shop, they really didn't want to paint just the fuel door because of this exact problem. I insisted, and it turned out a slightly darker red than the rest of the car.
  10. Is the paint color off or is it just me?

Yes, they blend over a much larger area, usually, from what I remember
  11. Is the paint color off or is it just me?

Azure grey is a 3-stage paint, or tri-coat (metallic base, color tint, clear) Very difficult to get small, newly painted areas to match the rest of the original. Good paint shops usually refuse to paint only small parts when 3-stage is used (Like a fuel door)
  12. Ford is allowing your insurance company to spy on you

Who cares 🤣. 21st century. All the automakers are doing it
  13. Unbelievable....the Wiper Update is ONLY if you're having problems!!

Sounds like a dealer-specific thing to me. Switch to a different dealer
  14. Official Ford WARTHOG Package

100% true statement. It's how it works in Product Development.
  15. Official Ford WARTHOG Package

It was always Raptor. Never once was it "Warthog" outside of product development
  16. Looks like my Transmission is leaking. What do you think?

Mine was leaking from same spot, similar mileage. Turned out to be a failed input shaft seal due to contamination when mounting trans to engine at plant. They had to replace the front bracket assembly inside the trans., since the seal was integrated into it.
  17. DO NOT USE ARMOR ALL WIPES

The Topper Pad on the Bronco I/P is Painted High heat ABS plastic, and not the traditional MIC Polypropylene we traditionally use on them. Care must be taken when cleaning. The paint WILL come off. Sorry this happened to you!
  18. Automatic Transmission Leak issue leads to surprising discovery & rebuilt transmission

I had my 2021 Bronco with the 2.7L start leaking back in February from between the bell housing and the engine. It was dropping about a coin-sized (quarter) spot per day on the driveway and garage floor. I took it in on March 17th and they said it was leaking from the input shaft seal between...
  19. Am I the only one that sees this?

I'm thinking how comical it is that people see these images from MAP and suddenly think they are Quality Control experts. haha.
