1. Cool feature but wouldn't say it's a must have. If it remains I would prefer it on the opposite side so the swinging tailgate doesn't need to open all the way for quick access (fire ext., flashlights, etc.). Can't tell what dimensions are, so not sure how useful.
2. I ended up purchasing the...
I have Charger 1 mounted under dash on Mountains 2 Metal clutch mount plate and flip the provided breaker between trips as recommended by Bluetti.
Clutch mount:

Heads up if you use drive thru car washes. The unsupported ends of your plate will get bent over the bracket. Just an FYI and why I took mine off, but I do install it when I go long distance or interstate. A top or backing frame may prevent it.
Hard to say. I only need it to last overnight (maybe 16 hrs max from arrival to camp to depart next morning) and has been more than enough.
I was having an issue with the where the AC180 would shut off when fridge went idle. I have now have fridge plugged into a SetPower 218ah portable battery...
AC180 and Charger 1.
I only use battery powered devices (lighting, electronics) and a 12V fridge on the AC180 so no draw on Bronco battery while in camp.
NOCO for dead battery if it happens.
Being behind the spare tire carrier, I wouldnt worry too much about how they look. I think I’m going to play with the hump cover on the interior instead though.
Thanks. I’ve used a set of those. They work great when the weather is nice, not so much when its nasty which is when condensation is the worst.
I think I found the post @Brian_B was mentioning, or a similar one with a version that mods the tailgate hump cover instead which is more straight...
The rest of the under side is fairly protected with skids. That area left of the gas tank is usually considered safe to keep open because it has good clearance. The skids, suspension components, and diff took a good beating too though.
John Bull trail has lots of large boulders that are not...
@Felix808 Rob, I know you like to keep track of the trail carnage. My exhaust was worse than I thought from the rock in a hard place. The driveshaft seems to be spinning true though.
Had the pipe swapped out today with a takeoff from another member here, and have a spare muffler for down the...
Oh nice! It does look really good too.
Though I wasn't referring to cost, just number of tools/parts and streamlining or making it more versatile for other repairs. Having the outers there (when you get some inners) will be really handy vs fiddling with the broken off piece in the other one.
I think the force would have to pivot on that single bolt and the front face plate coupled with the bracket wouldn't be able to do that without enough force to bend the whole rail, which in that case I don't think any additional bracket would prevent. I didn't drill or put 2 bolts in my LOD...
It's not available, but the tools can be found elsewhere and would be far less than what he put in his kit. It was meant as a guideline on what to buy.
You could pare that down quite a bit with a minimal kit similar to this kit below and still have room for more repair tools in that space.

Also, need the inner tie rods.
