I got a place near me that specializes for the boat industry. Might steal this idea but use 1/2" marine grade, support underneath and in 3rds for when I need the back seats up.
Great work.
I can't drive mine without doors, it's too noisy. There is a loud whining noise that sounds something like this "I don't feel safe, can't we put the doors back on. what about just taking yours off. my hair is getting messed up" yadda yadda yadda.
I would get the Ford ones but NOT a fan of that...
My 2024 was bult in November of 2024. Got to dealer in Feb 2025. How do they build 2025's in July 2024 and subject to a recall but a 2024 built 4 months after a 2025 is not.
Ah yes, a carpet igniter.
I asked at OffRodeo when they were going to cover the most important thing. No ducks, trolls, smurfs, beanie babies, homies or other dash board missiles.
They have a huge stable of vehicles all with the bells and whistles and wicked low tire pressure. Nobody rode their own, but why would you, if you roll all the way down a ◆◆⛷️ you can still drive your own vehicle home.
I actually learned on a standard. Drove one for the first 2 decades of my driving life, including the M35. Then after the umpteenth time hating my life commuting in Boston traffic I swore never again. To misquote Ron Popeil, 'set it and forget it'.
When I was forced to drive an Explorer when they used up the last of the Crown Vic's I switched to a walking beat and a bicycle in the summer. 8+ hours in an Explorer sucked the life out of me.
Ford's new crew seems to not be well versed in Ford history, or they don't care. The Maverick should have been called a Ranchero since it is basically a unibody crossover more close to a car platform than a traditional SUV that is built on a pick up chassis. The Maverick was a car after all...
Well the T, my 68 deVille and the 59 Edsel had all big pedals. You needed a lead foot.
Must be a generational thing, like calling a trigger the 'bang switch' which when one thinks of it is what they should call the safety.
Any other weird idioms out there.
Went to Off Roadeo yesterday and they all kept talking about the fat pedal and the skinny pedal.
I guess that's what all the cool kids say today. :like: I'm old I guess because it was always the 'long one' or the 'short one' or often 'the up and down' or 'the sideways' pedal.
Of course I...
