I drove my Bronco in a convoy of VFW vehicle that visited and performed Memorial Day Services at 13 urban and mostly rural cemeteries. We publish our schedule and there is a crowd waiting at each one. I feel honored to command the Rifle Squad that fires the 21 gun salute.
Has anyone tried ceramic coating a MIC top? Mine is still in good shape but I keep it in my garage when not using it. I ceramic coated my last vehicle, a 2015 Explorer and it looked great when I sold it last week.
We just towed my 2023 Outer Banks about 5000 miles throughout the Southwest.
I had ABC Bus install a Blue Ox tow plate and tow bar. I also had them install the Air Force One braking system, (but that's only if you have air brakes). The light package is also installed.
Towing the Bronco is a...
My driver's side window is cranky. It rolls up just fine but is real fussy about rolling down. I have done the reset many times but it still has a mind of it's own. I'm thinking bad switch.
We just got back from a 5000 mile trip towing our 2023 with no problem at all. My manual does not mention pulling fuses, so I don't. I even checked with the Ford rep. I do have a 12 volt line run from the motorhome to the Bronco and I monitor it with a WIFI system that lets me know the voltage...
I want to shout out a thank you to Weathertech. I ordered a hood protector for my Outer Banks and during installation it broke in half. I thought, "Oh well, that happens" and threw it into recycling. I also told Weathertech what happened when they sent a customer review for me to fill out. I...
Well, this last February and March we went from Minnesota to Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and back through New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Iowa and the home to Minnesota. See we tow the Bronco behind our motorhome and use it where ever we go. We love it.
My drivers side window in my 2023 Outer Banks is selective about when I can roll it down.
When I pull into my yard, or the mail box, I want to lower the window but it will not until I stop and put the vehicle in park.
It will raise at any time however.
At first I thought it was a faulty switch...
When I was young however, and living in Virginia, I was known for taking a four wheeler up a mountain in the dark and when the sun came up wondering how I got there and wondering how to get down. I did a lot of hunting and running the beaches in those days. Good Memories. Enjoy it while you can.
I understand your concern. They are pretty securely mounted however and I do not do the extreme off roading you are talking about. I'm 85 and my activities are somewhat curtailed these days.
I have Weather Tech no drill mud flaps on my Outer Banks but the rear tires were still throwing mud onto the running boards and getting my wife's slacks dirty when she got out because she rubbed the back of her legs against them. My solution was to order another set of front mud flaps and...
For some reason the drivers side window will only open under certain conditions. When I pull up to a mail box I have to select Park and open the door to get it to lower. I suppose it could be a faulty switch, but.................
