Scored a sweet deal on the 4wp bumper ($288) and winch mount ($122). Had been wanting better approach angle than the Metalcloak bumper I got second hand (and loved ). Added @ASFIR 4x4 front and muffler skid plates at same time

Agreed. Bolt on frame mounted has that disadvantage. My 2 door is going to be getting a body mounted version coming soon.

These are steel. Their skids are mostly aluminum, but these are double layered steel. Good eye on the gas tank. It and the front skid are pretty beat up.

About a year and a half ago I was asked to test out some new step sliders from @ASFIR 4x4. Through using all of their aluminum skids across several of my builds I’ve gotten to know the folks in AZ and they reached out about this new product. Full disclosure, I did not pay for these as they were...

there are a few dents for sure, but they’ve held up nicely. The gas tank skid has taken a tremendous beating. The front skid has been full force dropped onto boulders a few times. I just put a bandaid on it and keep wheeling.

I run all their skids and their sliders on my 4 door, love them!
