For the bestop, the installation video shows multiple soft pieces that stick into place, seals, foam parts etc. Can these be purchased from the manufacturer? Also do these have to be replaced every you swap tops (can hard top be reinstalled without removing these pieces?
Apparently, mine came with one of the newer harnesses. I cut mine from the sub box.
For me
Green/Yellow = Positive - I joined together
Black/purp = Negative - I joined together
Sorry truck is in the shop for accident repair so I can get close up
Here is a pick of where I cut it at the sub box...
One thing i learned was the navigation is on its own volume setting. Hack I used to adjust because I didn't know any better -- when the navigation was saying something I turned the volume up at the same time to where I wanted it to be. It took a couple of tries but I got it.
I cut the connection out of the stock sub box. I never thought to just order a connector. If I trade the truck in, I will just have to buy someones stock box lol.
I did the connection just as you are planning. See wire connection bottom left.
These hoses are on sale at the moment. Curious if there are any mods needed to use with Sas wheels.

if your getting the Moby dsp/amp. you dont need the other stuff. You replace the stock amp with it. It's plug and play all in one device. It drives the speakers and sub.
If you are getting the Moby Preamp DA/G2, that is needed to fix your issues with the Kicker amp.
If any of this is...
With Mobridge you dont need a base knob for the sub... The volume for the sub will be controlled by the sub setting (tone settings) in the head unit which is a cool feature.
i believe you can buy separate controllers to handle the A2b issues. I ended up with the Mobridge, but when I was looking at the Audio Control and JL Audio amps, I was told I would also need a processor to handle the A2B. They were only a couple hundred bucks..... It is doable
I plan to try the same experiment. I am thinking about the Morels also. I currently have Focal 100 in the dash. After a first pass with tuning, they sound much better. I have to play very loud to combat highway noise when windows are down. Yes, it is a big difference in price. That will...
