Not seeing anything to fit a Bronco Raptor nor do they list AGM color.
The stalker hood is awesome however, it goes against the airflow for the Raptor. Needs the back opened for the airflow whereas the cowl, solves this but is a bit too tall for my liking.
Visibility out the front is not the...
That is interesting. I heard it a long time ago, from a Ford engineer on the project. Maybe Ford just made it stick i.e. Warthog vs. Raptor.
However, while the engines are physically identical, there are changes not seen by the untrained eye or can even be seen at all. The 760/625 vs. 700/640...
Sounds legit. However, my logical thing process lead me to believe the range of motion in spring compression would be drastically limited.
The RPG's are great for unloaded springs as a leveler but under constant load and needing to take some bumps. I think upgraded springs are needed IMHO.
Dimensionally, they are the same, heads, block, SC. So really doesn't matter. And FWIW, the engines have code names, GT500 is Predator, the Raptor R is "Carnivore". Even with the same major parts, Ford did enough to give the Raptor R heart a new code name, slightly smaller SC pulley and probably...
I subscribe to their channel. They have taught me a lot about crawling, jeep or bronco. really a fun pair to watch. Also, they are just a little south of me so, when I get my bronco raptor, I plan on checking out their sandhollow backyard...
My production week for my raptor was 4 sept, blend on 7 Sept and still shows in production as of today. I can only hope the status just wasn't updated and I'm in trans or at least waiting for trans.
Actually, the engine timing, degrees BTC. can only be adjusted by the ECU so much before the engine runs like crap or not at all. The ECU will put it into safe/limp mode to save the engine. FA engines are even more susceptible to ping than NA. Compression and heat together will go beyond...
After reading this thread, this is the most accurate as to what Octane is.
All gasoline has the same amount of BTU's per gallon. However, Octane is the measurement term used to describe, roughly, how much pressure and heat the gasoline can take before auto igniting aka. detonation.
If your...
I know this is apples to oranges however, the manual for my GT500 clearly states the transmission will shift back to park when the battery voltage drops and will cause damage if it is in motion. Apples to oranges because that is a DCT and not a hydraulic auto tranny. Just food, fruit, for thought...
