  1. Auto start stop not working

If it says due to vehicle charging then that’s why. Really. I don’t know who tested your battery etc. but perhaps they didn’t realize it is an AGM battery that functions at higher voltage than lead acid? Other conditions that factor in include: operating temperature, ambient temperature...
  2. Rock Rails vs Rocker Panels

@userdude for the win. Good research & pics. Here’s what I did: 1. Thoroughly clean, prep, tape & primer the metal rocker panel & pinch weld below the doors. 2. After primer step, paint flat black. 3. After flat black has dried, paint with your choice of bedliner or underbody coating...
  3. EPIC Roadie Removable Arm Rest for Bronco!

Had a version of this for a CJ-7 in the past. That thing needed it because of the hard skinny door and the overall ergonomics. Bronco doesn’t need it though - I’ve wheeled for endless hours on forest roads in absolute comfort in my Bronco.
  4. Can Adaptive Cruise Control be added?

Let me summarize: No. If you are sure you know better then you wouldn’t be asking - you’d be telling us how you did it (and your strategy to deal with software updates from Ford).
  5. Solar Trickle Charger

I connected a little 25 watt solar panel to the battery of another vehicle - without an intelligent charge controller - and it cooked the battery to death. Learn from my mistake. Spend the coin on a charge controller.
  6. Ford Bronco Vs. Jeep Wrangler: How The Off-Road Specs Compare

    Here it comes again! https://www.motor1.com/news/781617/stellantis-undecided-which-brands-keep/
  7. Ford Bronco Vs. Jeep Wrangler: How The Off-Road Specs Compare

I’ve owned Jeeps. I’ve owned Fords. (I’ve owned other brands too.) Bronco is a better & safer product. Jeep company is a gamble on who will support & service your vehicle next year, much less a decade from now. And getting parts for a transition-year Jeep can be a nightmare. Jeep Brand...
  8. 24 Bronco Badlands- goat modes inop/4x4 sont engage, advactrak/stabilitrak , check engine, ect

Note that these are AGM batteries so the voltage may be different than traditional flooded batteries.
  9. 24 Bronco Badlands- goat modes inop/4x4 sont engage, advactrak/stabilitrak , check engine, ect

Yup, battery. Sounds like my 2023 - I don’t drive it daily - with just 8,400 miles we are not driving ours enough to keep the battery charged.
  10. 2.7L Engine Borescope Pictures of Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W-30 vs HPL 0W-30

THANKS FOR THE GREAT INFO & PICTURES! I grew up working on engines (my dad was an engineer & NHRA racer who did his own mechanic work). I was an early adopter of Mobil 1 after seeing what regular oil looks like after 50,000+ miles. Used it exclusively in my 1988 Toyota pickup since new. At...
  11. North Carolina Ford Parts Rigid Fog Lights

Bummer they didn’t fit yours. They would fit mine but here’s the deal… 1. You didn’t follow scam-prevention guidelines for selling. 2. Shopping around I found the same light kit for $280, shipped.
  12. Toyota recalls million vehicles for rear view camera issue

It is a software issue according to some reports.
  13. Toyota recalls million vehicles for rear view camera issue

Doing sophisticated electronics & software is hard. https://www.motortrend.com/news/one-million-toyota-lexus-subarus-recalled-due-to-backup-camera-failure
  14. Front & Rear Fender-to-Bumper Gap Fillers ??

I get you @stangs-R-me — when I’m wheelin I don’t mind mud & dirt. But when it comes to daily driving, Iā€˜d like it to be clean. Don’t let people get you down. I hope we both find something..
  15. Bronco Towing: Is flat towing better than dolly or trailer??

@Dirtrider Yes basically all failures & complaints mysteriously stopped. With the entire 2025 vacation season of people flat towing essentially nobody had a problem. I strongly suspect that Ford slipped an undocumented software update into the system.
  16. Bronco Towing: Is flat towing better than dolly or trailer??

As @Fastmc25 & @RagnarKon pointed out, putting it up on a trailer is obviously the best to prevent wear & tear & the complexities of flat towing. However in my case, the purchase, maintenance & storage of a trailer is a PITA. Storage is a significant issue when you get to your destination. I...
  17. Bronco Towing: Is flat towing better than dolly or trailer??

Can’t dolly tow (2 wheels on dolly trailer, 2 wheels on ground). Under TRANSPORTING THE VEHICLE section of owner’s manual is the following text: ā€œAll-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicles require that all wheels be off the ground using a wheel lift and dollies or flatbed equipment. This prevents...
  18. Need a camp chair that is no more than 3.75" thick when packed....does it exist?

Here’s what is always in my Bronco. No it is not a great big comfy chair but it is sufficient. Price can’t be beat; buy a couple and try them. Quick measurement at the thickest part - the center ring - is just under 3ā€. The rest is fabric & poles which one can pack neatly enough to fit I...
  19. 2026 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ prototype world premiere

Not available in America. Or even Europe.
  20. Tire questions.. Big Bend National Park

Have driven it all, including Black Gap, in stock trucks with OEM tires at highway PSI for years. You’ll be fine.
