For my stock 2 dr Badlands (285 70R17), I just changed to Falken Wildpeak AT4. I think they look great and love them compared to my K02's which i absolutely hated due to not being good in wet conditions. I had to order the smallest bumpers (i think from Sasquatch) for my tailgate as the spare...
My '21 2-door leaked from the A pillars since I had it. Took a few tries, but they finally fixed it last year. The 2nd 'fix' was replacing the two panels. Will be interesting to see what this all involves. Ford should be ashamed of this junk MIC top they gave us.
I got new tires this weekend for my '21 non-SAS Badlands. Same wheels, same tire size (33's), but different brand. I went from the stock KO2's to Falken Wildpeaks. Now the spare isnt fitting on the back. The bottom bolt isnt long enough, so I'm guessing the tire profile is wider than the KO2'e...
Due to recall #235 in my '21, I was given a '25 loaner with a 2.3l. My son and I were befuddled at the exhaust sounds, and then I remembered reading it was piped in through the speakers. At first I was thinking, how in the world does this exhaust sound like this compared to my 2.7l.
My stock 2021 2.7l Badlands 2-door gets about 17 mpg on average. Most of my travel is local traffic. When I've take it on long trips on the interstate I get right at 20 mpg, and that is usually averaging high 70's/low 80's mph speed wise.
As a 2-door owner, I think I've officially given up on a soft top. I've been waiting 4 years now and I'm guessing this is the best we'll get at this point. I dont have a garage, so taking off the hard top requires getting a posse together and making sure there is zero chance of rain for days...
I'll call back up next week. I was just paraphrasing what my advisor told me when he called. I thought it was a bit odd. Maybe he was mistaken himself.
Dealership picked up my '21 today for the Valve test and the rear shocks. They just called and said the shocks were OK, but they didn't have the parts to finish the recall. Guess they are out JB Weld. When I asked about the Valve test, he said they didnt do it as they were told to not test it as...
If you're ever in Huntsville, you can check out the original Ford prototype, S/N 1 at the U.S. Veterans Memorial Museum. They also have the first Humvee prototype there.
Mine are more magical. I hate it didn't come with a garage so I could more easily take my top off and that my 2-door doesn't have a wee bit more storage in the back without lengthening it!
