We bought some new takeoffs from an OBX for my girlfriend’s new 25 base. Cheapest upgrade by far especially after selling her factory wheels and tires.
Girlfriend picked up a 25 base back in September and we didn’t wait long to make it her own. It won’t see any trails as that’s what mine is for but she wanted it spiffed up a bit. Wish mine had the big screen too!
First shot is leaving the dealership, second one is about a month later.
It hold the brakes for you once you stop so you don’t have to hold your foot on the brakes. Then to go it automatically releases the brake when you press the gas. Can probably google a video example but it’s a nice feature.
To my knowledge it has never been factory on the Bronco, but I’ve had it in F150 and Expeditions so that’s how I knew it and why I missed it with the Bronco.
Anyone with a 2025 been able to get auto hold to work? I added it to my 2023 and it works perfectly but on the 2025 I added it and it shows in the screen but I can slide the setting to on.
I’ve gotten most changes to stick on my girlfriends new 2025 except for auto start/stop, auto hold and the tire size change. Anyone have luck with these yet?
It’s been a couple years but I don’t recall it being anything difficult. Pull the taillights and it’s all plug and play then run a power wire to the battery. I’ve done so many mods to mine that it’s no big deal now. If you’re basic handy you’ll be fine.
Appreciate the reply. I’ve reached out to two dealers now and am getting the run around so I’ve abandoned giving ford anymore money and ordered the same curt wiring harness I installed on my 2023, oh well.
