The oem downpipes are a major choke point. If you take them off and look at them you'll see what I mean. It's worth it to replace them. I just put my oem heat shields on over the aftermarket cats. If you squint hard it could be
stock.
You're projecting your own prejudices and misconceptions. Your opinions do not equal fact or reality. As I said before there are too many variables for blanket statements. Each use case is different and the individual will have to weigh the cost/benefit analysis for themselves.
Final thought...
A cam will not ruin a car, or destroy it's cats, or cost thousands of dollars.
People have been putting cams in LS engines since the dawn of time.
Yes you will need a tune for most but the mildest of them but a tune is recommended for any car regardless of mods.
You're making blanket statements that are not absolute. There are so many variables that it makes adding a cam a per car/person/cam dependent question.
Based on your comments I don't think you understand enough about cams and engines to make a judgement. That was not what I was saying at all...
As much as I love 4th gen F-bodys, no, no it didn't.
This belongs in the off topic forum not the general Bronco forum.
That being said, yes it will retain value left stock but it will never be a valuable "collectors" car. It just won't. Modding it and putting a cam is also not the mechanical...
Just under $2600. Like 2580ish I'd have to dig up the letter for the exact amount.
I was pleasantly surprised. I figured they would pay the bare minimum.
I got my check yesterday. $2,568.94
Mailed in my receipts got a check 4 weeks later. Was the easiest most painless interaction I've ever had with Ford.
I feel bad for you OP. I hope they eventually make things right.
