Tougher to answer the "where does it all come from" question than it should be. I can speak to the frame portion. The different steel in the frame is sourced from all over, and the steel source is dictated by Ford. Most of the stamped components and the frame assembly happens in one facility...

Silly me - obviously I was not just not being logical lol. Entirely logical to have the option to select roof colour and thumbnails showing said roof colour, and then a second option to select body painted roof colour that are only separated by engine choice, 4x4 drivetrain choice...

sorry - a little off topic here @FordVideoGuy when building a 26 badlands and picking velocity blue, I am wanting either a body matched blue hardtop or shadow black top the configurator tool does NOT like this. DO you know if this a tool problem or if ford really wont body colour match a blue...

gotta be a drain....i'm 44k miles and just over 3 years old. stock battery. If you don't have any electrical mods might be dealer visit time...or at the very least a shop that you trust can chase down electrical gremlins good luck

I had this issue since new.....the dealer that I purchased from replaced parts but it was never resolved. Tried a different dealer and they made adjustments and it has been fine for over a year now. I believe they told me they adjusted the tension.......all I know it now works properly!

that's weird!!! These tops are bulletproof! ok just kidding - it's a club that no-one wants to belong to I sure hope you have a hassle free warranty claim - members on here have had varying levels of success. Keep us posted on how your experience goes
