The factory wireless phone charger is an easybake oven. It eventually overheats. Wireless CarPlay wasn’t very reliable and incurs an observable delay between controls like prev/next.
some things aren’t available in CarPlay and having the phone in a stationary location is helpful for those times .
I did a lot of research on tire replacements for myself, focusing on weight though. Ended up on Mickey Thomson Baja EXPs. The stock gy-mt are extremely light and are basically in their own class and these were close to that stock weight.
My mpg seemed unaffected by the EXPs. I haven’t taken...
If traffic stops more than an a few seconds then I have to press the resume button. I think pressing the gas pedal might resume too. If traffic comes to a full stop for only a second or two then it will automatically continue.
the original CC did not do this. It just cut out under ~8mph and...
probably cuts out around 8mph right?
it’s adaptive at speed, but not stop and go. Forscan enabled stop and go on mine though and is one of the better mods I’ve done.

I could see it being of more value if it was one subscription per family. Per vehicle is silly though.
I use Maps a lot but don’t trust it as much when outside of cell tower range, even with offline maps. I also hate how it seems to stutter when not navigating.
Just noticed my connected nav is about to expire. I like the nav and think it’s easier to read than CarPlay maps, but it’s not worth over $90 a year.
