The shop just called. They can't get the boot on the passenger side, so their solution is to put it back together with one OEM on one side and the ICON on the other! I told him just to put it back stock. So I'm going to be out a few hundred dollars for their labor. Sheesh. Maybe I'll call ICON...

Yes. They are better than stock, but not as beefy as the ICON, so I thought I’d swap them out. Bad idea?

Sparse experience: but I had one roof rack without a cutout, and one with. The Trailrax with the "wind protector" was much quieter.

That is the right one. It folds at the front with a nice pivot point. My tent (Bushveld) was too wide for the opening between the bar racks. It has an air dam.

It’s not too bad. Depends on where you mount the tent. You can reach from the ends and it works fairly well.
