I found the exact same thing in my filter housing last oil change. I just cleaned it out and inspected the area. I think it came from the filter housing thread.

lol, you’re not kidding! Stupid thing woke me yup at 4am beeping like crazy! Like it was having a panic attack. FML

Has anyone had any issues with their key fob beeping? I changed the battery out with a new one but it seems that was not the problem. The fob works fine as it should and I don’t have any warning lights either.

I had the same experience, my wife uses the bronco and has completely destroyed the driver door panel with god knows what scratching it and she loves to let the seatbelt buckle slap the plastics. looks terrible.
