Its strong and sturdy and well built. Only concern I would consider is how it bolts up to the horns. I have seen a few posts say under extreme use, the horns end up bent and further reinforcement may be needed.

That is not a question I can answer as I obviously was not the one involved. Talk to that service manager and ask him this question. Ask him why a vehicle with a safety issue is back on the road? And ask what his resolution for this is?
