Fuel pump failed on my Bronco last night going 35 MPH in town. It sputtered for about a mile and I had to floor it to get into a parking lot where it limped to a halt. Had it towed to the dealership last night. Called them this morning and told them what I thought it was. They called back later...
Yes,
Leather is extremely hot in the sun just like vinyl. Iāve owned several convertibles and always had towels in the trunk for the hot afternoon trips. BTW, I have a roadster with leather and no top. Iāve been caught in heavy downpours and it never hurts the leather. Iāve also seen model Tās...
I rotate them all for many of the reasons described above. Dealer did not charge extra although I did have to tell them to use the spare. When I got it home it took me 15 minutes to pick the tiny rocks out from between the small slits in the tread of the SAS tires.
As others noted, you loose the sway bar disconnect. I went with the OB because the step makes it possible for my passengers to get in easily AND it takes the brunt of the stones being thrown from the tires!
I also drive 45 minutes to work and like the Lux package. I opted for the cloth seats...
I use the touch free car wash at least once a week to get the salt spray off from the treated roads. No problems with the blowers at all. Not a drop of water has come inside the cabin from the high pressure wash around the windows. The only exception is a few drops from the upper seal on the...
I had the opportunity to drive a 2.3 manual 4door non SAS before mine was built. It was very fun to say the least. There is nothing quite like driving a manual like you stole it!
My buddy and I both bought 4door outer banks with SAS. He opted for the 2.3 and I went with the 2.7. I received mine...
Yes!
Pre-ordered yesterday. That prop rod is one of the worst solutions Ford came up with for the Bronco.
Any estimate on when they might be ready to ship?
Thanks!
Picked mine up on 11-29. 2.7 Runs great and no chattering noise like some have complained about on cold start. Itās been as low as -1 degrees and sounds great. Just turned over 4,000 miles this morning. I did change the oil at 1,200 miles and followed the break in recommendations. (4 door OBX...
This situation is not unique to the new Bronco as others have stated. Iāve owned several convertibles since the 70ās and each one had its own place that was susceptible to folding in the wrong manner with the potential to tear. My ā71 Chevelle SS convertible was the worst but for those smart...
I thought you might notice that. I set it there for the last 3 miles of my commute. The local police will pull you over for just a couple miles over the speed limit. My daily commute has about about 8 miles of driving through small towns with several stop lights, 9 miles of flat road and 18 of...
This is the average I have gotten with my 2.7 SAS Outer Banks since driving it off the dealer lot on November 29th. I drive in small towns and country roads in Northern WV and southeastern Ohio. 20 MPG is not bad at all.
I sat on both the leather and MGV in the summer sun and promptly changed my order to cloth. Iām extremely happy with the Roast cloth seats in my OB. They are not hot in the sun. Also donāt freeze my ass off in the winter.
Really glad mine has the running boards to protect the body from rocks...
