  1. Icon Stage 8 - Settings

Thanks for your higher setting is better advice! Yesterday I increased to 8 on the front and 7 on the rear shocks and had no issues with losing traction or instability, even at 50-60 MPH, on areas with decent washboard. I hit some potholes and heavier washboard at 45-50 that would cause...
  2. Icon Stage 8 - Settings

2&3 are my pavement settings. Even those are way better and stiffer than the stock Sasquatch it came with. I took the screenshot while out of the Bronco and App wouldn’t allow me to scroll to the off road setting unless it’s connected to the Bronco. I used 6 the other day on the dirt and that...
  3. Icon Stage 8 - Settings

Thanks for the response above and it helps some. That said the Stage 8 Icon suspension includes new coils, upper control arms along with the Icon CDEV shocks. These shocks can be adjusted using a phone App to be light to stiff. The front and rear shocks can be adjusted separately. Levels are 1...
  4. Icon Stage 8 - Settings

What shock settings (set using the phone App) would you recommend for driving fast on washboard dirt roads? If it matters, I’m more interested in maintaining traction, control and stability than ride comfort. I regularly drive long distances on these roads and have been experimenting but I’m...
  5. Windshield cracked... what are my options?

You can request OEM glass when setting up your windshield replacement. Your insurance may or may not allow this or might charge you more.
  6. Flat Tow Tips (from 16K miles of towing behind RV)

It’s probably not necessary and we rarely stop for one night without needing to drive the Bronco somewhere but when we do I leave mine hooked up to the tow bars, etc but take it out of flat tow mode after leveling the motor home. In the morning, before leaving, I put it back in flat tow mode...
  7. Any flat tow failures with a part time transfer case?

For the first several miles, my Bronco stinks after long, bad weather flat tows. It’s just road grime burning off. Good weather short tows = no stink. I’m at over 20,000 miles of flat towing with zero issues.
  8. Backup Cam Recall gone?

Mine is still there but is listed as 23S48/25V273 Mine is still there but is listed as 23S48/25V273
  9. Are Bronco Flat Tow Issues Resolved?

Iā€˜m personally horrible at following written instructions and my reading comprehension shuts down as soon as an instruction sheet is placed in front of my face. I actually discovered the full brake press thing on my own during my last trip (about 3 weeks into the 5 month trip), thought...
  10. Are Bronco Flat Tow Issues Resolved?

The instructions clearly state to fully press the brake pedal when taking it out of flat tow mode. If that done 90% of the issues disappear. Pressing it part way doesn’t work out well many times.
  11. Are Bronco Flat Tow Issues Resolved?

I always listen for it shifting when going into and out of flat tow mode. Also pushing the brake pedal all the way down until it stops and holding it there when taking it out of flat tow mode has resolved 90% of my issues with the shift delay. My Bronco just broke 30,000 miles and I’ve also...
  12. Rodent prevention damage

I use these inside my motorhome, in the storage bays and engine compartment. I also use Fresh Cab in multiple locations. I also kill more mice and pack rats around the motorhome and house than I can keep track of. So far ground squirrels havenā€˜t been an issue. I do live on the edge of town with...
  13. Best solution for taking bikes on paved roads: Tow hitch? Wheel Rack? Roof rack?

Get a hitch stabilizer. Tons of options are available to choose from the retailer of your choice. This is one I’ve used and it’s good...
  14. Front Mud Flaps for 2024 Badlands 4 Dr w/Rock Rails

I had Weathertech on my 2022 and they worked fine. The little gap so many forum members criticize, doesn’t impact much of anything as far as how well they work. After 2 years I removed them when I got rock rails that protected the sides from rock chips and I also didn’t care as much after that...
  15. Softest ride?

Icon with CDEV so you can change the suspension damping characteristics whenever you want. That said coming from 3/4 ton pickups to the Bronco and my previous experience with 4x suv being old jeeps, scouts and gen 1 Broncos I was shocked how soft my stock Badlands was road off road. Nothing...
  16. No washer spray

Mine has done this on and off for the past 3 years. It hadnā€˜t done it for a long time until recently when it did it several times in a few weeks. I, thought it might be a vacuum issue so I popped the cap but it didn’t help. Started working a little while later after driving for a while, worked...
  17. Unrepairable recalls piling up.

Can a recall be cleared on a specific vehicle without the work being completed? I’ll never have the shock recall done since I replaced the OEM shocks, etc with full Icon Stage 8 suspension. It’d be nice not to see it but it’s just barely enough of a annoyance to waste your time and my time by...
  18. What percentage of Bronco electrical problems are caused by aftermarket accessories?

Wait, what? I thought every problem was Ford’s fault? At least that’s what I thought I learned after reading the forums the last several years…..
  19. Balanced my tires with a screwdriver.

Mine were the original so I can’t comment on the newest tread design. I will say that before the Bronco I’d never had a rig throw rocks on the hood or top and I’ve been driving trucks with all terrain tires since the early 1980s. Luckily that got better after a while and I’ve since moved on to a...
  20. Balanced my tires with a screwdriver.

My Goodyears stopped collecting as much gravel after wearing down some 7,000 to 10,000 miles in. (Might’ve been closer to 5,000 but I flat tow the Bronco behind the motorhome so Iā€˜m not exactly sure.) Others have reported the same.
