Thanks @Ducati1098 I’m always learning from your inputs and feedback!šŸ‘
  2. Bronco Raptor Steering Wheel Swap w/ Functional Paddles -- DIY installation writeup

Did you swap a Raptor dash panel in as well? Did you try driving it and trying an up shift and downshift using the paddles? The wiring for the paddles is already installed, so it should work, wonder what the issue could be?
  3. Bronco Raptor Steering Wheel Swap w/ Functional Paddles -- DIY installation writeup

You don’t need to make any forescan adjustments. I have a 2022 Wildtrak and installed the BRaptor paddle shift steering wheel in it. What you need to do is switch the BRaptor keypad circuit boards out and install the ones from your Wildtrak steering wheel. All your current Wildtrak steering...
  4. Does your Bronco ever lock itself with the key fob inside?

Yep, not like my other vehicle that won’t let you lock the doors if the fob is inside.
  5. Lobo HNT Hidden Winch Skid Plate and Openroad 13500 winch installation, pictures, and review

@Ed Morris I’m a little late to this thread, nonetheless I’m finally installing the Lobo HNT on my 2022 Wildtrak. Your comment amount making a wood cradle is exactly what I’m planning to do. I learned that from installing an Atlas II and NP435 4speed in my 68 Bronco. It went smoothly so I’ll be...
  6. Bronco Raptor Steering Wheel Swap w/ Functional Paddles -- DIY installation writeup

@Caprichoso I did the BRaptor steering wheel swap on my 2022 Wildtrak based on @Rfisher75 posts. It was a pretty simple swap with no loose or extra wires and no programming. What you need to do is switch your Hertige steering wheel circuit boards for the BRaptor circuit boards and then plug in...
  7. Bronco Raptor Steering Wheel Swap w/ Functional Paddles -- DIY installation writeup

Looks great @2door! Up until your swap we’ve all used the BRapter steering wheel and trim ā€œringā€. I’d love to see some photos of how you did it.
  8. Plugs after one year

I haven’t read all the comments so if this info has already been shared my apologies. What the plugs look like depends on when you pull them. Ideally to get the best indication of your engines tune/performance you want to pull them after the engine is at operating temp and after driving and then...
  9. 74Weld Portal Review

Definitely! Oh the wheel hop thanks for the quick reply @SierraBronco great photos and detailed info. I seem to remember 74Weld doing a video of a failure like this that they brought parts in and repaired on the trail. The Foutz ends are just like the RPG. I’ll have to look into the Rock...
  10. 74Weld Portal Review

@SierraBronco as mentioned excellent write up. Curious what were the specifics of the two failures? Agree there’s a torque effect with the portals due to the offset. As @87-Z28 said everything is a compromise. As nice as the IFS and rack steering are for daily driving they’re also more fragile...
  11. Disposition of OEM parts?

Same problem here, 68 Bronco parts and loads of Bronco Wildtrak front and rear suspension parts. Time to list on the for sale page. I heard some years ago if you move something more than 3 times in a year it’s time to sell it
  12. Bronco Raptor Steering Wheel Swap w/ Functional Paddles -- DIY installation writeup

You didn’t say what model Bronco you have. I’m guessing it’s a Wildtrak. If you don’t want to have to use Forscan to go in and program the switches on the BRaptor paddle shift steering wheel, then you just remove the left and right switch clusters (the circuit boards under the rubber button...
  13. WARNING: Ask Ford if they will charge to remove skids for oil change

What the hell has happened to integrity these days? I recently had a new set of RCV axles installed that I’d purchased from another Bronco parts dealer because I had store credit there. I took them to a shop to get them installed. I drove my Bronco home and discovered the driver’s side outer...
  14. 74Weld Portal Review

Are the drain plugs metric thread or SAE? Just wondering if 1/2ā€ AN 901 aluminum crush washers would work or if it needs that extra .05ā€ that the 14mm washers offer
  15. Bronco Raptor Steering Wheel Swap w/ Functional Paddles -- DIY installation writeup

I bought mine from Fairway Ford through their eBay store. They have a new one listed now for $899
