I’m a big fan of both Filson and Bronco. I love this collaboration. It’s too nice for me, I wouldn’t trade in my manual Badlands for it. If it had a manual, I might.
When you say “auto hold” do you mean the feature on the manual equipped Broncos that hold the brakes on a hill momentarily? I was able to turn that off from the on screen menus, I didn’t like it.
Filson has gone in a bad direction. It was a great company. I’m actually excited to see this. If it is cool (manual transmission) I will definitely try to get one.
I have some Filson gear that I’ve bought over the years, including a 14 year old packer coat, which will be an heirloom. I’ve pretty much stopped buying their stuff even on sale. It’s mostly all just imported stuff now.
I personally like the Ford Performance tune but I have a manual transmission. Fortunately I got it before Ford removed the rev matched downshift. It’s a really nice feature for day to day driving, even when wearing boots, which are not great for clutch use.
It’s really dumb that they removed...
I put on a set of Mickey Thompson AT’s in April and they have been awesome offroad and on road this summer. Grippy off road and quiet on road.
I’m excited to try them out in the snow and ice.
I haven’t had them long but I wanted made in USA, really grippy, siped for ice, LR C or D. I’m pretty happy with another set of belts for durability Offroad and the MT fit the bill! So far so good!
I just put a set of 35-12.5-17 MT Baja boss on my Bronco. I am surprised how quiet they are. They are heavier and have reduced my fuel economy, especially at highway speeds.
I do drive it to the mall occasionally and I keep it clean. I love off-roading it too and my skid plates are scratched all up as are my wheels. I enjoy my Bronco everywhere.
I had a Gobi rack on mine for about 10k miles. I ended up selling it because I didn’t really use it. As long as you keep adjusted and don’t overload it, it’s the strongest rack out there.
Plus, they made me one that shorter in the back so that the back could open.
