So, I change my own oil and i have NEVER had oil come out like a cow pissing on a flat rock. THe flow of drain oil overwhelms my drain pan. I literally use a 2 gallon bucket to catch it so it doesnt go everywhere. The great news is that the hardest part is getting the skid plate off and I LOVE...
Ok, I need to apologize for having thoughts about the people that complained about the 2024 B&O system 10 speaker set up. I thought the complaints were people being picky etc. Well, i got a rental today, a 2024 expedition MAX and it has the B&O system in it. WOW what crap. If its anything like...
So, my non sas badlands came with the MT option and offroad they are fantastic. But, me being a sucker for a good deaL found a dude getting rid of some badlands rims with brand new bfg ko2s for $1000 bucks for 5 brand new.
Picked them up and swapped them out today, going to monitor:

I work for one of the largest engineering firms in the world and the point isnt anything other than I deal with alot of people. I get asked about my bronco a good bit and the younger engineers that work for me ask if theres a bronco thats more reasonably priced than mine is/was.
I respond that...
Bumped into a ford transit, literally, now were gonna see how much it is to repair. Any guesses? I get an estimate tomorrow, literally just the bumper and grill are damaged, no sensors or anything else behind them. Lucky actually. Behind the plate is where the real bend in the bumper is.
So, the suspension travel on a Sasquatch 4 door bronco is front/rear 9.1/9.9 inches and on a badlands NON SAS is 9.4/10.3
The snip below is from the ford website and consequential PDF 2025 Bronco Tech Specs
The question is if this small difference is a function of shorter swaybar end links...
I looked through threads and I am sure it here but, I was wanting to know if theres more to sas'ing a non sas badlands than just removing crashbars and adding the 35's. I would have a hard time believing that no lift is required and I am aware that mine has 4.4 gearing and a sas has 4.7. Im just...
Was checking out Wilson's creek trail and found where I wouldn't go. Of course pictures take out severity but that boulder was over 4 feet, turned around and went back the way I came
I have the Ford app and it showed a free subscription for a year through the app, the renewal is stupid at 100 bucks but,,,, ill do the free for a year, check your Ford app
So, I just went to moab this last weekend as Id mentioned in a previous post and had a great time. I didnt do anything advanced but the few trails we did really showed how the goodyear MT's shine. Now, I was driving back thinking about how I like them but really would rather just use a less...
So, I bought a 25 Badlands without SAS which meant I was going to get 33's. Its what I wanted but I had a concern in the back of my head that the types of trails I was wanting to go on would make me regret not getting 35's.
Fast forward to today, I was doing fins and things trail here in moab...
I Got my 25 badlands last summer and I dont take it offroad every weekend but at least every other. THe thing I have found is that the MT tires mine came with really throws rocks. ENded up chipping the 2 front doors then added mud flaps etc. but really Id like to preserve the paint as I dont...
So, was driving up a mountain, founds the ice below 1.5 feet of snow and thought i would try my traction boards. Really awesome, can't recommend them enough
Im curious, I have a 25 badlands with the B&O stereo and It sounds phenominal. I hear everyone talking about their dissapointment with these and its usually from pre 25's but in mine, it sounds fantastic. I did try it without the surround feature on and sure, it sounds a little flat that way but...
So, I was underneath my bronco looking at control arm part number and saw this discoloration on the shock. Its not oily and wont rub off. Looks like a leak but I dont think it is. Anyone else see this?
So, I got these cheaper skid plates for the rear diff and suspension, so far have only had them deflect dirt and loose smaller rocks but they work pretty well. I could see the suspension ones getting destroyed on a rock but thats the idea really.
So, I bought my 25 badlands in July and of course love it. I have spent most of my life buying the cheapest of anything and driving it till its dead as thats what I could afford.
I see the most common threads online about how to make your base model a raptor and the second most popular would be...
So, I live in the PAC-NW area and we have dirt roads that they put this oil on to keep dust down and the stuff turns to concrete. I bought some red rock mud flaps for my 25 badlands and they really didn't work, added these cheapies I bolted on, problem solved
