My price estimates were pretty close to what actually came out, although my expectations of options are pretty lean. I was pleasantly surprised at the price of the 2.7 with AT compared to just an automatic transmission, and if that holds true I’d upgrade if I buy. I did find an unexplained price...
The fact that the V6 with Auto is just $300 more than getting the 4 cylinder Automatic seems too good to be true. If it is correct, Ford really isn't trying to sell 4 cylinder automatic Broncos.
The sum of the options as priced is $6,090.
The summary on B&P shows as $6,885.
On a Badlands 4 door it comes up with a price of $4,090 for these two options, which is correct.
On a Big Bend 4 door it comes up with a price of $5,790 for these two options, which is lower than sum of the two...
It required the A/T (which is properly priced) but if you add up the value of the options shown in the summary and compare to the total shown...it doesn't match.
For everyone saying, "where is the marketing to build excitement?" That's what these concepts are for.
To everyone saying, "why are you showing things we can't buy?" I'm guessing that the CAD plans are already in the aftermarket's hands in the same way that the JL/JT was "aftermarket ready" on...
Well placed grab handles make a big difference.
On our recent trip to Moab we went out in a Land Cruiser on 35's - no steps or running boards. After a few tries, my 5' wife was able to get in and out much more easily.
I think it’s reflective of “people are willing to buy those colors” so dealers will put them in inventory, versus those are the colors that people really want.
It’s more of “I’m not offended by this color” and a low risk for inventory.
There's probably an "Errors and Omissions" clause on the Ford website terms of service, that would prevent having to compensate anyone on pricing errors, especially on a pre-production vehicle.
2 door or 4 door: I'm choosing 4 because I do want to be able to take my kids cross country and carry gear in the back. There's been 4 door off-road vehicles since the Cherokee XJ and Defender 110.
I actually find a lot of the dimensions of the Bronco 4 door to be...large! But I'm...
Someone built a slick spreadsheet that let's you see the differences between the gear ratios and the speeds for each gear.

Short answer is, higher (numerically speaking) final drive means your top speed...
I’ve said several times that if the Bronco was coming from Toyota with their reliability record: my order would be in and I’d know I was set for a truck for 20 years.
I’ve been considering LC’s for the last 4 years and just been detoured for the last 6 weeks to a Bronco.
My option set of vehicles over time has swung from quicker cars (had an 00 Civic Si and an 03 WRX and almost a 2 series BMW) and settled towards 4 wheel drive.
Felt more realistic in terms of what our family enjoys doing (mountains and hiking) and how commuting or driving in Atlanta feels.
For a pair of ARB Air lockers for the axles that come on the Black Diamond it's $1000 for the locker and another $500 for a compressor. I haven't been able to find an aftermarket e-locker for the differential that's installed.
There's likely to eventually be an aftermarket solution for...
Out of curiosity, what are the requirements from Canada Post?
Prices I've seen for imported LC's are pretty steep in the US - seems like a lot of money to invest for a work vehicle.
My hot button list for options is basically the off-road goods - the lockers and the upgraded axle, bumpers and skids.
My notes from reading around various off-road boards and YouTube channels - axle failures aren't uncommon and a lot of trucks are on lighter weight axles than they probably...
I really was planning to hate on the Bronco at the release, as I had for the duration of the hype period.
I’ve been casually shopping for a used Land Cruiser (100 series) or Lexus GX for years to do a mild build and be able to get into the back country. I hike, I backpack and the idea of...
I'd have a slight semantic disagreement - the colors that are sold are the colors that the dealers choose to put on the lot for an inventory vehicle - and represent safe choices that people are fine with buying. If I were the inventory planning manager for a chain of dealers I'd probably be...

I’ve been looking at this one for awhile. Sounds like they have options for both their vehicle or yours.
