  1. Portable Power Station DIY Build -- My Portable Battery System

+1 on waiting for the panel update! I've been thinking of rigging up some sort of DIY solar horror show to my roof rack that would plausibly withstand 70+mph winds without decapitating unwary bystanders. From what I'm seeing here, I feel like @cr117 might rig up something clever. Cool battery...
  2. TPMS Adjustment

Hullo! So Iā€™m did the same thing with the TPMS disable and re-enable. Mine donā€™t work now either, although it was over a year since I last used the set with TPMS in ā€˜em. Did you ever figure out how to get yours working again? Thanks! Edit: sorry to bug you - I did some light searching and found...
  3. TPMS Not Re-Pairing After Sitting 1.5 Years...

Hi All, sorry if this TPMS question has been answered half a dozen times already and I'm just not savvy enough with the search function.... here goes... Backstory: I own a base and upgraded my wheels / tires some time ago. I think it was the Fall of 2022 the last time I ran with 'em. I...
  4. 7MT Cup Holder Upgrade: Mug Adapter (3D Print)

Thank you! Well, I can say it's at least a fun thing to dabble into - if you end up picking one up, I hope that you and your son have a good time time with it! I've enjoyed trying to find ways to use it as a tool to solve problems, plus it's a great excuse to learn how to use CAD tools. It's...
  5. 7MT Cup Holder Upgrade: Mug Adapter (3D Print)

I'm pretty blown away by it too. It seems like only a few years ago this was very hobbyist and you'd have a laundry list of things to do to get a good print for "enthusiast" level printers. It's amazing how cheap things have gotten, and how much the out-of-the-box experience has changed.
  6. 7MT Cup Holder Upgrade: Mug Adapter (3D Print)

Hell yes 10/10 @Squatch - those are truly majestic.
  7. 7MT Cup Holder Upgrade: Mug Adapter (3D Print)

Hey All, I made a thing and figured I'd share. I wanted to use some of my Yeti mugs in my bronc, but they wouldn't fit in the 7MT cup holders. I got tired of spilling coffee everywhere when they would inevitably fall over, so I designed and printed an adapter. I probably could have gone out and...
  8. how does 2-door Bronco handle high winds?

Mine has generally done fine in high winds. The one exception to that was when I was driving through central WA which has fast highway and very strong consistent wind. Vantage, WA area / wind farm territoryā€¦ predictably very windy. Doing 70mph with an unknown headwind (30? 40?) it would somehow...
  9. Show me your 20's

Tried it but it doesnā€™t seem that useful. Am I doing this right?
  10. DTCs While Cold Weather Driving

I follow "LUCYTHEBRONCO" on IG and they recently had a sta-bar issue too, from the looks of it. Apparently it leaked and dealer resolved by replacing the sta-bar. (edit: I gather that one didn't go away on its own like yours did, though)
  11. DTCs While Cold Weather Driving

(Note: dated updates to this original post are located at the bottom of the post) Well, my bronc threw some DTCs and went into limp mode when I was about 70 miles into a trip out of Fairbanks, AK. Temps throughout the drive were between -5 and -25F. All hwy speeds / 2wd. Went into limp mode and...
  12. Bronco 2 Door & Cybertruck in the Freezing North šŸ„¶

Howdy! Nice rig and upgrades! Digging the fog light install and pods šŸ‘ good to see another base/7MT rolling around!
  13. Bronco 2 Door & Cybertruck in the Freezing North šŸ„¶

Same! The level of chonk when seeing it in person definitely won me over to the ā€œok, this thing is pretty coolā€ camp. Still, though, where Iā€™m at in life, the price would just be too much but Iā€™d 10/10 take a bequeathment (is that a word? šŸ˜³) I think if it was close to the initial launch price...
  14. Bronco 2 Door & Cybertruck in the Freezing North šŸ„¶

There a few chargers but nothing in comparison to the lower 48. Mostly you see block heater outletsā€¦ those are everywhere. Iā€™d be curious if those would even provide enough juice to keep the batteries up to temp when itā€™s super cold.
  15. Bronco 2 Door & Cybertruck in the Freezing North šŸ„¶

Oh thatā€™s cool! Iā€™m still new(ish) to the area but am finding all sorts of cool stuff like this goes on. Saw a few cool looking Rivian SUVs on the highway headed toward North Pole a few months back too. Gotta keep a look out for other cold prototype testing going on now šŸ§
  16. Bronco 2 Door & Cybertruck in the Freezing North šŸ„¶

I spotted a cyber truck up here in Fairbanks, AK, and had to take a pic with my bronco next to it. I imagine theyā€™re doing some cold weather testing. Over the last week itā€™s gotten down to -25F some spots in townā€¦ good time to experience cold if thatā€™s what theyā€™re angling for. Up close this...
  17. Coldest Temperature Driven in Your Bronco?

Fairbanks is kind of a letdown so far, at least in regard to cold temps. Iā€™ve only caught -20Fā€¦ was hoping to get below the -36 from this time last year. Will keep searching for the cold spots šŸ¤ž
  18. Wanted: ski/snowboard builds

Iā€™m using a very tiny rhino rack for skis. Itā€™s small enough that I can fit my Thule next to itā€¦. just barely. Can get a few boards into the Thule.
  19. Screen Protectors anyone using them?

Iā€™ve been running a nushield with no issues to report. Almost 2 years at this point. edit: this one (I have the smaller screen / base bronc)
