Sorry, I'll try to take one when I get home tonight.
I removed the letters from my BL grill to place them on the OBX grill I installed.
You could probably just do the same (remove your letters and keep them for the BL grill, though that may be more trouble and work than you'd prefer)
Update #2: 2/17/23 1:45pm
Just received from the rep I spoke to on Friday, after I send an email today requesting an update:
Hello Tom, I have received the email, with all the attachments. I’m having a issue getting the video to play, however its probably my company firewall. I have reviewed...
The tech told me that the person in the other van was there to do the calibration when he was done with the install.
(Could be BS, or true. Either way, that person was paid to sit in their van for a good 2+ hours twiddling their thumbs, while a co-worker seemed to break every protocol in the...
I'm in Phoenix, and have a Badlands grill to trade for your Black Diamond grill.
Unfortunately, my Bronco letters have been removed from the grill though.
Let me know if you're interested.
SMALL UPDATE:
I've been waiting for more interaction with Safelite before chiming back in.
Safelite called me around 3pm on Friday (day of incident). They were extremely apologetic, and even said the tech fessed up that he had scratched a customers truck pretty good.
Thats when I let him know...
2 years, 1 month, 3 days and change. Thats how long I waited to get my Bronco.
It only took a Safelite technician about 2 hours to cause more damage to my Bronco than I have accumulated in 6 months as a daily driver.
Long story short (actaully, kinda long!), I had about a 4 foot crack in my...
Oh man, I just reviewed some camera footage from my Blink system, and its so much worse than I initially thought. Fucker bend my door hinges, now my door is rubbing the sill along the bottom. (BOTH sides!)
I'm going to start a new thread about this Safelite experience:
Great. Doesn't sound too encouraging.
They scratched mine (what I consider to be) pretty bad, and in 2 areas, never mind the area behind the top of the windshield that isn't visible from the ground.
This didn't happen to be the location around Pinnacle Peak and 19th ave by chance?
Safelite just replaced my windshield on my driveway, and they scratched my pillars to f-ing hell. I'm on hold trying to get a hold of someone at Safelite.
Did you get any recourse? I fully intend to have them repair/paint my pillars. I waited well over two years for this car, and I'm not having...
Yes, they are interchangeable. However, they have plastic posts that have been melted onto the grill So you will need to drill the melted caps off from the back to pull them off. I then epoxyed back over the post holes to get them to re-attach
I ended up purchasing an OBX grill off eBay. I should have waited I guess.
That said, my BL grill is available (BRONCO letters have been removed) for $200 if interested
