That sucks, and looks like will be an issue with MGV seats. However, my stealership was able to get it covered under warranty. But, it took till today for them to source the right replacement panel for the seat.
Sorry should have clarified, the spacers a re wheel spacers. I was going to powder coat the stock wheels and go with 35's. Which would require spacers due to the backspace of the wheel. But now I think I am going to get the everglades wheels.
I just tried raising the lever while sitting in it and without. It doesn't come close to hitting that spot. I agree it is probably from sliding out. But it should happen this early.
I couldn't agree more. The fact that the plastic is so hard and cheap drivers me insane. Sometimes I am tempted to pull out all the plastics and spray bedliner on it. Especially in the back where the dog lives.
Yes, MVG. I checked the passenger side seat and don't see any cracking there. Which, every passenger is shorter than I am, so I would have expected the same wear.
Gonna call the dealer and make an appointment. Will let you all know if they cover it.
Less that 7K on the odometer and already have a crack. Granted I am only 5"10 and new this would eventually be a wear point. But not this soon. Anyone know if it is covered by warranty?
I really have done much but city driving. But what I can tell you is they are way smoother and softer than stock. I haven't cranked them up, so that could change. So far I am super glad I made the switch.
Just finished installing my Eibach coilovers. So anyone in the Monterey Bay area looking for 4dr 2.3L Non Sas Badlands coilovers (with zone leveling kit) these can be yours. First $500 takes 'em.
Will through in the UCA's if you want them.
Prefer a local pick up, but I guess I could ship them...
