I went this weekend and I have not ordered one. I put my sawbuck down July of 2020 to reserve one and then when the Off Roadeo started I signed up for it.
They intentionally bury you and put you in some bad spots on purpose just so they can train/teach you what to do. It's amazing, really, what this beast can get out of. I was blown away several times and constantly impressed.
There were 3 or 4 spots that definitely made think, "Seriously?"
I have been through Moab off Roading. This Texas course is not as difficult as the MOST severe Moab courses for sure, but its no cake walk in some places. You get your money's worth.
