4A is useful for certain driving conditions. For sure in the Bronco is will be identical to what has been used in the F150 for a few years.
On sandy pavement 4A will lessen the rear wheel slippage.
For sure on snow or wet pavement it is a necessary feature.
I have used it off road when in 2wd...
Read all about the class action suit for manual transmissions on Mustangs. The defective trans is a lot worse that many believe.
Sure if the buyer (Ford) wants bullet proof trans then the cost goes up even from Getrag. Ford chose to buy the cheap version.
Having said it I think a Manual for a...
I talked to Rockslide sales and they were non committal for the Bronco. I will call the bossman and see what he says.
BTW. I have AMP on my F150 and Rock slide on my Jeep. Rockslide is way better because they do not hang down so low and offer excellent protection. The AMP (same as Ford for the...
Nice story about the Baja 1000 and Bronco Sport

Chance are that the Bronco will come with the battery killer stop/start feature. That is what Ford does these days.
Ford is sensitive about weight and their batteries are not big and robust. Driving around town in an F150 you find after a bunch of stop signs the stop/start feature gets disabled...
Well I have a Casita towed by an LJ Jeep with all my stuff in the trailer and my overloaded built Jeep. Tows stable and is extremely slow on hills. I have upgraded Jeep brakes so that it is not limiting. Had to beef up the rear bumper/hitch for the hitch weight. Jeeps back then did not come with...
Any good fab shop can setup the Bronco for 37s without a kit.
I plan on having the dealer put 37s on before delivery. Then head directly to the fab shop.
I follow the F150 forum and my impression is the 2.7 is one of the best motors Ford has produced in recent years. Way less issues compared to the 5.0 and slightly less issues than the 3.5EB. There are reports of 2.7s with over 200k miles with no issues.
My truck has a metal pan and Ford is great...
Poor question by the OP. None of the poll selections mention Ford oil. The Ford manual specifies their syn or part syn oil and neither needs additives.
My choice would be Full Synthetic. that meets the latest Ford spec. By the time you get a new Bronco the manual will call out the latest oil...
Most of us will be at GVWR at Max payload without a trailer.
Even if you do not load up the Bronco and want something to tow then you are stuck with the specs as built by Ford. Just keep the choice of trailer that meets the specs. Plenty of travel trailer and utility trailers that will work. I...
Sound deadening is like 37" tires. Just have the dealer add them after receiving the rig before delivery. Dealer will be happy to provide stuff the Ford did not put on the B&P.
Hand held units are inferior. My Bronco will have a CB and a VHF unit mounted somewhere inside.
Antenna Fender mount just like the ones you see on F150s. And they work good.
The first time you take a Raptor on a rock trail you will be removing the steps and replacing with rock rails. Raptor does not compare with a Bronco. Raptor too long and too low. So if you are a dedicated Moab guy then the truck wont do and the Bronco will be the choice. Cannot afford both then...
