So many good reasons to do all 5, many of which are noted above, but I will add one: it is so much easier to do if you are like me and do it yourself. You only have to jack each corner once, make the tire switch, and then move on to the next.
The climate control system runs a little calibration routine when you power on. Does it last just one second and then stop? And does it do it when you power on acc without starting the engine?
Some questions, asking now in case I ever need to do this:
- Great save on using the short (A) belt on the critical parts to get you out of there! Two questions on that: 1) how much of a stretch was it and what tools do you need to stretch it? 2) It looks like that would result in the coolant...
The same switch that engages it also disengages it, you just move it the other direction.
I am intentionally not saying 'push' or 'pull' because Ford changed the switch design in 2022.

Interesting...that is more consistent with something that would happen after 15k miles. Looks like an easy fix once they have the part. Here is the repair process they reference in the TSB
This video might help you. You can forward to about the 8 min point for the wiring. You can cut off the relay part and the fuse if you are using AUX switches. So all you really need are the red and black wires coming from the fog connectors. That #3 side looks very short though.
