I have never installed sliders before, but am pretty handy. 6 bolts per side w/ washer and lock washer. I used the styrofoam packing chocks (see photo) to support each end while installing the first couple bolts.
Use a somewhat shallow 5/8” socket and keep a 3” or 4” extension handy—- a couple...
I find my answer in another thread: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/a-solution-to-replace-the-third-b-o-ctr-dash-speaker-with-3-matching-upgrades.33541/post-1573257
The Accessory Ready screws are Torx T-20. I'll give that a try. I prepped my replacement 6.5s (Hertz SPL 165.1) today.
The center speaker grill is a PITA. The two screws holding the accessory mount are totally blind. I have loosened them, but I cannot seem to get them out completely. What bit type and size are people using to get them out? Any tips and tricks would be appreciated.
I picked up my Lux Wildtrak Monday. As most people have reported, the stock B&O is meh. I have replace the corners with Herz DCX 100.3, which are an improvement. (The B&O dash coaxials are not the weakest element of the stock system). I also found that I liked the sound better moving the fader...
I bought into the Makita system. Their leaf blower uses two of the 18v batteries that power their other tools. I agree that you have still with one system because all the money is in the batteries and chargers.
Actually, if you use this link, it still works:

I was able to get the Havoc Trailcrawler 4 door steps for about $100 off the Havoc website costs. A few minutes after I ordered them the Prime Day discount went away.
The B&O is an A2B system. Your best results would be to get an A2B converter to replace the B&O Amp/DSP. I would contact the @plugnplaykits folks and pick their brains.
I left a water bottle (stainless steel, but painted black) on my Jeep Commander a few years ago on a hot day. The water bottle paint reacted to the Jeep's paint, removing a stripe of paint about 6 inches long and 1/4 wide.
To expand on this, the factory enclosures are too small in volume to be ported for aftermarket subs. By blocking of the port, you are turning it into a sealed enclosure which will give you better sound quality.
You will get a better result by using an A2B processor and using aftermarket amps and a dsp for the front speakers (and a sub amp for the aftermarket sub.)
The thing is, the B&O amp be adequate to drive efficient aftermarket front speakers. Might as well try before ploughing money around to the...
My complaints are more about what Ford took out and replaced. Dark Blue and Dark Red metallics are perennial favorites in the truck world. I have ordered mine in HPR, but AMB and RR were both preferences.
Was Rapid Red a tricoat? Not disputing you, but I only remember Cyber Orange as a tricoat in '21. Also...people loved the Tonka Truck look. Another beloved '21 color ditched for "51 Shades of Gray"
