I have a basesquatch and really loved the blacked out letters on the grill at first. Wasn't until I put the white ones on that I realized how much it was missing something up front. The lighting adds just that little bit more presence or something, it's really nice.
Can't imagine anyone would take their automatic system and make it manual again. You can just unbolt the end links and do this for free whenever you like if you want to see if people are right that you're missing out on flex.
I also imagine a large percentage of badlands owners have never hit...
I think I have the same kit (or from the same factory). I ran mine to my last aux switch and just leave it on all the time. Sometimes I flash it at other broncos for kicks but honestly you can forget its there if wanted.
I wasn't into the lid thing either, you could probably get a grommet and...
I actually just emailed ACFab about this, I bought mine before there even were brackets. Wondering what the other exact updates were and if it's worth upgrading. I thought the G2 / antirock swaybar upgrade ideas for the Bronco would be ready by now. Not sure I could stomach paying the Bronco tax...
I just ordered this DIY kit off Amazon. The above is similar but is 7mm and needs to be crimped instead of using a worm gear. Seems like this should be good enough but does require a little fiddling to get the size correct if you prefer to be able to keep the extra band length trimmed down...
I have these too though I had what I think is an early version. I think there are some changes but not sure exactly. I can share some tips.
Bring something to lay on at the trail if you don't want to get your back dirty. Bring a pry bar or plastic deadblow if you need help getting them back on...
I second this.
Another naive question that BB mentioned and I wasn't sure on - is the black protective spacer inside the rack body that he recommends breaking to remove already shaped like the bushing he / RC sells? Is the bushing for sale just a solid version of what's already in there just...
In all seriousness, muffler deletes are pretty loud. No flying under the radar, everyone is gonna hear your every move which is annoying. Sometimes you just want to slowly drive out of a parking lot and you don't need to hear the exhaust farts echo for miles.
I recently put my Flowmaster FlowFX...
This. Since the bushing came out I feel like there's been this pretension that it took so much elite American machining skill to come up with this part. I'll grant that the thought to create the part is unique (maybe it's an obvious solution when you google how on other vehicles they've fixed...
I didn't know that tell-all video existed when I last commented. Someone else sort of touched on it but this is just a video journal of these people learning for the first time that there are competitors in the market. They have this air like how DARE someone ever question us.
At the 1:30 mark...
Love the profile pic!
I completely agree with the pricing on the BB. Previous commenters made a great point already that he was first and it did take money to break racks and find what worked. I get that part and it partially justified the initial price especially when COVID was sending things...
Replied to you via message. In case others are interested this is the OEM bar (https://accessories.ford.com/products/bronco-2021-safari-bar-kit) and should fit all models as far as I know. Thanks for looking!
