They are Auxbeam. I have been shopping Diode Dynamics and Baja design and had decided to go with the Diode Dynamics but just couldn't bring myself to spend an extra $1,000 for lights, I'm absolutely sure the Diode Dynamics are better than what I bought just not sure they are $1,000 better. I've...
I can't use this as I have a 2 door but I did get the 4 light setup from Mabett and it works great. Also bought replacement LED's for the original back light and cargo area lights that are much brighter than factory. You can actually now see in the vehicle at night. Don't know why Ford didn't...
Have one on mine. I like it. Was going to put a graphic to cut glare but added this instead when I added the hood deflector. Figured it may also help keep rocks out of the wind shield.
Nobodies ever accused me of being a raptor wannabe. Never wanted a raptor. Got what I wanted.
Wanted to but wife was very nervous. Didn't help that a lot of the trails we did had the passenger side on the outside on shelf roads with her looking down the cliff. All of the videos have adult content due to some foul language periodically from the passenger side. Besides my offroad...
Hot!!! External temp gauge on PePe at one point while on trail was at 114 degrees. Most of the time was 95 - 101 or 102. Didn't really find it too uncomfortable though but we have been having 95 plus weather with 65 - 90% humidity at home so it was hot and you sweated but I didn't have to change...
So we drove the Bronco to and from Moab. About 3,000 miles round trip. Did a stopover in Amarillo coming and going to break up the drive. This was a great trip. If you are undecided I would definitely recommend you do the Off Rodeo. Don't miss it!!!
Lodging
So we stayed at the Red Cliffs Lodge...
I am actually on my way back from Moab Off-Roadeo. Had a great time. Did Off-Rodeo on Monday 7/24. Stayed at Red Cliffs Sunday, Monday, Tuesday night. Then swapped over to Best Western Canyonlands for Wednesday and Thursday night. Both hotels were great. Best Western was much cheaper. If I did...
I never hear anybody mention the Casita's. All their deluxe models come in at 2480 lb. dry weight (deluxe models have a bathroom - standards do not). Looks to me to be perfect for the Bronco and no membrane roof. I have owned 2 RV's before and I hate the roof maintenance.
So wife and I will be driving up in the Bronco. Scheduled for 7/24 for Off-Roadeo. Plan to spend 7/25 in Arches. Then plan to hit some of the easy trails the next 2-3 days and head home. Will not be doing any crazy extreme rock crawling. I have owned a lot of 4WD vehicles but have never done off...
