I did get the optional insurance just to be safe. Don't really think it was needed but felt better having it.

No you drive one of theirs but we took my bronco and did trails after Off Rodeo.

An hour or so of instruction and then out on the trail the rest of the day.

Have one on mine. I like it. Was going to put a graphic to cut glare but added this instead when I added the hood deflector. Figured it may also help keep rocks out of the wind shield. Nobodies ever accused me of being a raptor wannabe. Never wanted a raptor. Got what I wanted.

Hot!!! External temp gauge on PePe at one point while on trail was at 114 degrees. Most of the time was 95 - 101 or 102. Didn't really find it too uncomfortable though but we have been having 95 plus weather with 65 - 90% humidity at home so it was hot and you sweated but I didn't have to change...

I am actually on my way back from Moab Off-Roadeo. Had a great time. Did Off-Rodeo on Monday 7/24. Stayed at Red Cliffs Sunday, Monday, Tuesday night. Then swapped over to Best Western Canyonlands for Wednesday and Thursday night. Both hotels were great. Best Western was much cheaper. If I did...

I never hear anybody mention the Casita's. All their deluxe models come in at 2480 lb. dry weight (deluxe models have a bathroom - standards do not). Looks to me to be perfect for the Bronco and no membrane roof. I have owned 2 RV's before and I hate the roof maintenance.
