About 3 tanks ago I switched my display from the MPG to the Gauges for boost/oil/temp and it was the most freeing thing I have ever done with a vehicle. I just put 93 in (for the added HP) when I get below a quarter tank and I roll.
I still have a few rattles in my 2dr even after pulling the panel and using killmat all over on that side and putting rubber washers between the sub bolts. I chased 90% of them away but at a certain point even the external fender flare will vibrate on the right note.
If you want to really hear...
Just adding to the discussion. I have the proper android auto version on my phone and I have received the sync 4 update that allows full screen AA. Until they unlock "coolwalk" server side the experience is still pretty much what I had before. Once they unlock it then you should have much...
Old thread here but I did finally pull the trigger on this and install it. It works pretty good, I did have to kilmat the C channel stiffener on the back plate to keep it from rattling with the factory sub but overall it works great. My only complaint would be that Ford boxes these things up...
I kind of think any other color Everglades will be rarer because most would get the DS color since its only on that version. Throw off the masses by ordering the lowest take rate standard color.
Sorry to all the cyber peeps that will lose their first choice. I was antimatter blue that got rolled and discontinued and had to switch to velocity blue metallic. I must begrudgingly admit that I love this new color now. It's the first thing most people say when they talk to me...."love that...
Dr.Fish rod ties
I don't have a lot of passengers in the rear. They rattle like crazy in the wind. I tried attaching them in the buckles but then they flap against the seat in the wind with the top off. Just slid the buckle up a little and wrapped the holder just beneath it around the belt...
I'm android not apple but I was able to use google home voice commands to open/close my building where I park my bronco. It would be the same gist to use whatever apple uses for the same thing (sorry I am apple stupid but I think its homekit). I have a roller door opener which isn't your...
Once I took off the side panel and fixed the large and annoying rattles with kilmat and re-mounted the sub with some rubber washers it now sounds fine by me. I'm sure I could spend more $ and do major upgrades but it still has a better sound than my F-150 that does not have a sub. I will say...
Harken was recommended to me on here and it was pretty easy to install. The 2 door back cap is only about 90lbs so not too scary. I even had to mount mine in my storage building which was not level. Still works great. 1 person job but faster with an assistant. I added a few ratchet straps I...
Kilmat added all over. Seems like it took care of 90% and for sure the original loud rattle. Now it seems to be just the passenger rear plastic fender flare on certain notes. I'll mess with that one soon. At least I could reassemble my baby.
Edit. I also added some Kilmat to the white plastic...
The teardown happened last night on my 2dr. It wasn't too bad. The hardest part for some reason was the side panel clip that faces downward at the tailgate bottom. It could be though that I was being super careful not to bend/break anything. In my case it looks like back of the sub enclosure...
