Could not find an answer searching so thought I would ask in the forum.
Picking up a Base 4 door next week and was looking to transport 5 new pre-mounted 315/70r17's tires/rims in the Bronco for mounting.
Just wondering if I have any shot in fitting all five in the Bronco in one trip. About 70...
Agree, it's pretty bad. However, there are some of us that like the flexibility of two screens. I have wireless Apple Carplay in my current car. I like to keep Sirius xm or a podcast on the car screen and Nav on my phone. Also, the finger gestures on the car screen absolutely suck when using...
Think part of his reply was calling you out on the fact that the RTR build was SAS. Kind of ironic given that you have "seen all the videos on YouTube and Instagram of RTR going everywhere"
Not sure if I ever actually read it here, but always assumed there was a suspension height difference between the base vs BL. I can confirm there is definitely a difference between the BL and SAS.
Was at the event in Conshy PA where they had a non-SAS BL and a BD SAS. Actually placed a flat...
Actually placed a flat edge across the top of the tire to negate any crown and allow a straight measurement to the center of the rim. I then took a measurement from this same flat edge to the edge of the metal fender that is covered by the flare. Added both measurements together. Figured it was...
I mentioned the following in another thread.
Was at the event today in Conshy PA where they had a non-SAS BL and a BD SAS. Measured from the metal edge of the wheel well under the flare, to center of the wheel. Definitely a difference. Had it at about 1/2", give or take 1/8". Just throwing it...

Awesome post and thanks for measuring! Just a thought, but could the additional width of the SAS fender flares have more slope, creating less measurable lift. Not sure exactly where you measured or if there is actual slope though. Again, great post.
335 coupe, then an STI and now a Golf R, all of them at least chipped. However, after 3 tires and one wheel replacement in the last two years, I'm pretty much done with the low profile wheel scene. Got to love the roads in and around Philly.
Not installed, but the pricing I mentioned was from aftermarket Ford parts and not as dealer installed accessory on a new vehicle. I will update when I get confirmation and pricing from dealer.
BD here as well. Similar to everyone else, the stock steelies/tires do seem a bit undersized, especially on the 4 dr. Definitely going to upgrade to an aggressive 33', maybe even a 295/70 17. Of course fitment is a concern even for a 33.
Contacted my dealer about this "BRONCO FPP OFF-ROAD...
Just kind of assumed it was not since it is listed as a line item for the mid package. Thanks, will dig a little deeper.
Just checked, thanks That_Hal, seems you are correct.
Wondering if anyone could provide some insight.
Have a BD on order, no mid package due to the fact that I wanted keep the manual.
Primary reason to order the mid would have been for the backup camera…of course only to assist the wife and daughter 😏.
Is it safe to say that the wiring would be in...
