I bought one of these and could never figure out how to install it. Neighbor is engineering student and he couldn't figure it out. The thing seemed to be about a 1/2 inch too narrow and we were afraid to tighten the bolts in the cross bars and put stress on the roof, which I understand is...
The dealer has the parts to fix it, but not the "special tool" which is probably a very large puller.
Patiently waiting since it runs, just sounds like its falling apart.
Anyway, I'm happy to wait, but Ford Corp really seems to be a "hot mess"
Somehow, they designed and built one of the most...
Feels exactly like torque steer. Very noticeable on strong acceleration with the wheel turned off straight forward.
I suspect the suspension designers were much more concerned with off road performance and just accepted some torque steer.
It surprised me first time I felt it since suspension...
Anyone have a good experience with a dealer in NC? Prefer east of Charlotte and south of Raleigh
How to find a dealer that has someone that can work on a manual transmission?
Mine keeps getting louder and it's hot here in NC in July.
It's not GEICO. I use them and my total annual premium for a 2020 Porsche, 2018 Tacoma and 2023 Bronco is $2,000.00 with $2M liability. I self insure for the first couple of. thousand of comp and comprehensive, though.
Does this in my Base Sasquatch.
Test this way: Turn on wipers full speed with hose spraying on windshield.
After about 30 seconds, wipers stop and go to very slow intermittent.
Very repeatable.
Took video to dealer and they refused to look at video and told me the wipers were "smart" ( and...
Noise from the first day. Getting worse. Trans seems to shift just fine. Gonna wait for a fix.
Plan B: Keeping my old Ranger for a while.
Also, wipers don't work in heavy rain.
I pass my trucks down to my boys:
XTERRA 280k
RAM HEMI 240K
Taco 150K
Ranger 140K (not keeping, everyone has...
Looks like 24 Broncos are for sale at Crossroads Ford dealerships in NC. Photos suggest they are 2023s and are actually on site, not in transit.
Most seem to be without ADM and indeed seem to have some kind of "discount."
None of them are anything I would want. I'm waiting for a MT Base 2dr...
This is a complicated issue, it seems to me.
As for "brand" loyalty, that is not really an issue for me: "Chevy/Ford" I don't get it.
Clearly, the Bronco is a concept that transcends the choices that are out there. That has nothing to do with Ford, any manufacturer could have done it...
Just glancing through the images, sure looks like a lot of 2DR being built.
I was beginning to wonder if my 2DR base SAS manual transmission was on a "do not build" list.
I'm finally hopeful.
Have a great dealer: Cooper Ford in Carthage NC. Small shop and good people.
If I understand the process, the dealers only get so many trucks to sell (allocation process), so they lose money on every pending order that gets set for MY 23. This is because every old order that doesn't get converted means that they will still get that truck through their allocation and...
Me too.
FORD surely went to all the trouble to engineer both LED and Halogen lights for the tail lights. Take a look at the problems it caused for aftermarket trailer hitches. It seems that there are different wiring harnesses, depending on the tail lights.
Seems like a big waste of...
I've been amazed at this process of getting this new truck.
75 years old and have never bought a US car, but always had a truck.
First car 1964 Volvo PV 544.
Last car Porsche Macan
Lots of BMW SAAB MB Subaru in between
Don't think I'd really have much to do with FORD if this Bronco didn't...
