Don’t want to spark a portal comparison debate here, but am interested in your thoughts about how much lift you got. What does 74Weld give you? 3-4”, I can’t remember. The 38’s give you 1.5-2”. But what I’m asking is you feel this is plenty or good enough as opposed to the 5+” the other guy...
Are you talking about the heim joint? If so, loosen jam nut, use a large Cresent wrench on the outer part of the joint and twist it straight. IT does need to be straight up and down.
Probably not. The rails are for a 4dr and so who ever buys the rails will want four steps. That being said, should they get broken up I know how to contact you to see if you are still interested.
27,853 miles on these. Came off my 4dr Badlands Sasquatch. Worked great, no problems, just upgraded to Icon stage 8. Whole lot (not including icon box) for $500. Pick up in San Diego or El Cajon.
Changed to electric steps so these are for sale. I like these, just needed something lower for wife. Ford OEM rock rails (slight dent in bottom of driver side but still fits and you don't see it), plus four IAG steps. I have colored inserts as well. Have brackets too. Pick up only in San...
Never used, as I installed a full suspension instead. This is for front and rear. $250 new, I'll sell for $200 includes shipping (continental US) or $180 you pick up in San Diego (or El Cajon).
Embarrassing Update: I put the upper track bar bolt, the one that fastens the track bar to the frame, in backwards such that it was sticking out over the axles and brake lines. It's a long bolt, longer than it needs to be. You don't see the interference when you have it up on the lift and...
I did recheck it. Seemed like axle was about 3/16” to one side. I adjusted it but nit
Well .... I did the same thing. Dang it. That's why it only had 1" of travel. Thanks for the warning, but it was too late.
Anyone else noticing their Icon suspension rear is too stiff. Yes insert joke here. I just installed a Stage 8 package on my 4dr BadSquatch and the truck “thuds” when I drive over a manhole cover or 1” “imperfection” in the road. I purposely hit a dip fast and the front was amazing then the...
"Rocky" needs protection. Moab, Silverton, Mammoth Lakes/Sierras, Imperial and Yuma Deserts ... lots of planned trips this year all that might benefit from these skid plates.
