  1. Unbelievable....the Wiper Update is ONLY if you're having problems!!

On my last service visit, the wiper update was done even though I didn’t ask for it.
  2. $7,500 off a New Wildtrak. Good deal? Or wait for better?

The X Plan Discount for Ford Shareholders was removed from eligibility last year. I hadn’t heard of reinstatement if I’m wrong
  3. Vegas vs Moab

Having done the Off-Roadeo in Moab and been to Vegas countless times, I’ll offer the perspective. If you want a variety of trails and scenic opportunities, go to Moab. If you want the glitz and expense of Vegas, then go there.
  4. Not Bronco related but I am proud of myself 🫡

Congrats and thank you for your service. 🎖️
  5. Seeking 6G Chains and Tire Snow/Socks Advice

For those non Californians, chains don’t need to be installed, just carried when one has 4 wheel drive and snow tires (any all season tire qualifies) in most adverse weather situations. As I live just below the Sierras, I purchased cables, not chains to meet the requirement of inspection at...
  6. Sirius Radio Reception - Spotty at Best

The reason you don’t see AM/FM antennas on other vehicles is that most of those are mounted in the glass…..either the windshield or the rear cargo side glass. Jeep just moved their antenna to the windshield for 2024.
  7. Hardtop Roof Rack: if you were buying today?

It all depends on the mission intended for the roof rack. For me, I intended to use my rack for my rooftop cargo box and ski/snowboard rack. We don’t intend to remove rooftop panels in order to preserve the integrity of the roof from potential squeaks, leaks, and rattles, thus the $345 I paid is...
  8. Ford markets a Black diamond:

Your timing is a bit off with your statement about Mineral King being a part of Sequoia National Park at the time of Disney’s proposal of a ski resort. The Disney project was proposed in the mid 60’s and the Sierra Club and other environmental groups heavily objected to its development which...
  9. Changing Physical Key on Bronco Door (Key fob & Bronco stolen, but we took it back)

If the key fob has a dead battery, doesn’t that eliminate any key fob signal? I removed the emergency key and it fits into a lock cylinder at the bottom of the center console.
  10. Bronco NO LEATHER... is it possible?

IMO there are too many issues with your acquisition needs for the Bronco for your desired build to be accomplished. 1) If it requires to be a lease, you most likely will have to convert the replacement steering wheel and shifter back to stock configuration. With a lease, you don’t own the...
  11. Bronco NO LEATHER... is it possible?

Look for a used “Base” Bronco as I know the steering wheel is plastic. Can’t offer info on the gear shift knob though.
  12. Changing Physical Key on Bronco Door (Key fob & Bronco stolen, but we took it back)

There is a lock cylinder in the bottom of the center console that the emergency key is also used for……in case the battery in the key fob goes dead, the use of this key will allow the push button start to work
  13. X-Plan Pricing Now Available on Most Ford Bronco Models (Excludes: Raptor, Heritage LE, First Edition) - Effective January 10, 2024

You need a PIN issued by Mustang Club of America. My opinion is that if you haven’t been a member for at least 90 days, they will not issue the PIN. I was eligible for X Plan as an eligible Ford stockholder and had to supply proof of the required number of shares owned and at least 6 months of...
  14. X-Plan Pricing Now Available on Most Ford Bronco Models (Excludes: Raptor, Heritage LE, First Edition) - Effective January 10, 2024

The pricing ends up being very close to invoice when all is said and done after the calculations are made. My dealer honored X Plan pricing on my 2021 Bronco OBX purchase. If I recall correctly, Invoice was 96% of the MSRP on the base pricing and 94% of MSRP on the options. .04% was...
  15. Homelink programming issue with my 2023 Bronco Outer a ks

If I recall correctly, I only needed the remote to initiate pushing the Bronco’s button. To be sure of it working, the ignition needs to be on to accomplish the process. It won’t work if it’s off.
  16. Anyone know what all the Wiper settings are supposed to do?

I would recommend that you read your owners manual, not only to learn about how your wipers work, but to learn about other functions of your vehicle.
  17. Going to The Moab Off-Rodeo on Monday, March 18 and Looking for Ideas

The primary rental car firms have exclusions for being able to take a Jeep off road…..with GPS location technology, we decided not to do it when we rented a JeepWrangler Sport (stock street tires) in SLC for our trip to Moab. Moab does have Jeep rentals with no such restrictions. For a 1 week...
  18. Ford A Plan friendly dealers

X plan was originally available for the Bronco, but only for a very short time. The dealer I used for ordering and purchasing my 2021 Bronco had a short window of commitment as they posted an expiration date of X Plan acceptance. We took delivery of our Bronco 14 months later and the dealer did...
  19. Original 1966 Ford Bronco

You forgot to add all the parts and pieces from Falcons, Mustangs, and F-100s that were used to mfg the Bronco…..an ingenious puzzle IMO.
  20. Looking for kill switch. Two Ram TRX's stolen in my neighborhood in the last week!

The one posting is my daughter and her fiancé’s TRX and Range Rover. The only issue with the RR are SOS and Air Bag lights that were illuminated upon pickup. Otherwise, it drove fine from Chula Vista back to the Torrance area. I have yet to hear from my daughter on the cause of those dash lights...
