In the ProCal while connected to the vehicle you get two options performance cal and return to stock.
When connected to a PC (not connected to Ford Perf) you see the stock file and the Performance file. So yes it is saved on the ProCal.
Yes to the best of my knowledge it stores both the Stock and Ford Performance Cal on the device. There should also be a back up of you stock config in your Ford Performance account.
If I recall correctly the Ford Performance folks can be reached here (800) 367-3788. Be prepared to explain what happened after that they will send you a new voucher number that you can register on your Ford Performance account.
I had my dealer install mine when it first became available and they registered the ProCal to themselves not to me even though I gave them my credentials. The ProCal team at ford helped me get that resolved.
I plan to do the upgrade in the morning on Saturday 1/27 and will let you know what the...
Today I did my every so often check for a tune update and noticed that there seems to be an update.
The File ID that was originally in the ProCal for the tune was:
NB3A FPB27A AHE
The new file pulled down to the ProCal is:
NB3A FPB27A AH1
Does anyone know if this is an update and if so what...
Mine Check Engine light has been coming on intermittently as well. I have the the Ford tune installed and the tuner lets me read the error messages. The only one it has ever thrown off is "P0420 Cataleptic system efficiency below threshold (Bank 1) so it went to the dealer this morning and I...
2022 Wildtrak with 31K on it with the Ford Perf tune and all I have run since day 1 is 93 with no Ethanol. Not a single issue and I get roughly 15.6 MPG. It's not great I know but my foot knows that my wallet pays for the fuel.
This is a great write up and helped immensely! My only suggestion would be to remove the three nuts that hold the the original module in remove the plug facing the passenger seat, remove the wiring harness support from the lower back side of the module and pull the thing up to get at the plug in...
I agree with both reviews above the HP is a bonus but the transmission performance improvement is the one thing my Wildtrak needed and I love it!! Actually brought it to the dealer the first week I had it because I thought something was wrong because of the responsiveness. They drove it and...
I dont know if that is 100% true it could be now though. Many years back I purchased a Victory Hammer brand new (paid cash) and similar to the my Bronco the customization began day 2. New paint (Ghost Flames), Arlen Ness chrome, Stage 3 intake, exhaust and tune. Two weeks after the paint was dry...
Agreed. Also in Minnesota and my soft top has been great! I did purchase the DirtyDog headliner but that was for noise reduction not to keep the heat in.
