Possible ProCal Tune Update?

Today I did my every so often check for a tune update and noticed that there seems to be an update.
The File ID that was originally in the ProCal for the tune was:
NB3A FPB27A AHE

The new file pulled down to the ProCal is:
NB3A FPB27A AH1

Does anyone know if this is an update and if so what are the changes?

Looks like an update. I know mine has one also. You won’t find an information on what it changes though. Ford doesn’t typically say what changes are being made

I guess I will update my Wildtrak and see what happens/changes. Seems to be the Ford way to change something and not provide details

That’s possible but the tuner does let you key in just about any number you want, it doesn’t have a set list of specified ratios or anything

But that doesn’t mean that other things get changed related to that - so still possible you are correct. Timing certainly lines up.

I had my dealer install mine when it first became available and they registered the ProCal to themselves not to me even though I gave them my credentials. The ProCal team at ford helped me get that resolved.

I plan to do the upgrade in the morning on Saturday 1/27 and will let you know what the outcome is.

I put 5.13 Yukon gears in 6 months ago and the ProCal already calibrated it perfectly. With gears and 38's it is within 1-2 MPH of the GPS on my radar detector and does not hunt for gears.

If I recall correctly the Ford Performance folks can be reached here (800) 367-3788. Be prepared to explain what happened after that they will send you a new voucher number that you can register on your Ford Performance account.
