I'm so happy with my '21 Base Squatch. It does everything I need it to do and more! And with Forscan I have more GOAT modes than a First Edition.
I had the same fears. I'm moderately tech savvy but not mechanical. I found 3 or 4 decent videos like the one from 151 Garage, printed out the sheet with all the codes that was listed somewhere on here, and once I started was able to complete the job in under an hour.
So glad I did.

I could go on for pages about this purchase but I only have a couple of minutes to write this and then I have to go back to work. For me, the BaseSquatch is THE way to go. No regrets.
